It's over.

Yep. The projects that MATTER (generating most of the query fees) have plenty of time and resources to run their own indexers. It gives them way more control over the data and removes the need to wait on fucking Edge & Node or whatever other random 5-person “””core developer””” to come in and fix their problems whenever they feel like it.

The Graph is only helpful for indie dev scaffolding projects that actually have restrictions on time and resources. The projects that will lead the charge of the revolution will never trust major infrastructure to another team just because “muh decentralization”. GRT is not a good investment.

Kind of like how no big corps now trust things like IT security or emails to a third party? Oh wait most of them use office 365. Get fucked

So basicary oracles are baby enough to trust third party but indexes are too finicky for a lot of big projects to use grt. Wow almost like they're two completely different things.

You can make analogies to web2 shit but that's all it is, an analogy.

The Graph literally GETS BETWEEN a projects data and its blockchain. It's supposed to be how every other project, or any interested third party, interacts with the data of an application. Why would good projects leave such a fundamental part of its infrastructure up to a team they can't control? Especially when other options exist that really are not that difficult to implement.

For people to expect The Graph to do this for every project in existence is a ridiculous operational ask. And if you notice - their indexer count has not grown whatsoever since mainnet launch. So their ability to meet the operational requirements of an entire fucking industry (and somehow doing it better than the fucking project's own devs) has not increased whatsoever.

How about this. You trust a team to build the project, right? Uniswap has a team. Aave/Lens have a team. Why not just let that same team build the indexer of the blockchain?

Ta da! The Graph is immediately obsolete.

Indexers are developer tools. There is no reason for developers to use an index like the Graph when there is a better alternative in Trueblocks, that can be run locally, is more comprehensive than the Graph, is fast, private, and perhaps most importantly is free.

TRUEBLOCKS = SUPERIOR INDEXER to the GRAPH THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE A VC SHIT TOKEN
