Automation just creates jobs in other sectors. If the price of capital is much cheaper, you can make new service sector jobs that didn't exist before. Also if the cost of goods and services is cheaper for consumers, they would only need to work like 2-3 days a week to get whatever goods they needed.

How? There isn't a demand for those kind of jobs. Part time jobs already exist and would exist in a future of automation.
Even if people were still magically forced to work 40 hours, all that would happen is that they would retire much earlier because they would have so much money.
