The reason why wages and working conditions are worse in America than when Boomers were young is because the rest of the world caught up and doesn't let themselves get abused and sell everything for cheapies to Americans anymore.
You will never live in the Utopia that Boomer lived in during their youth because the world is a changed place. That's just how it is.

Things are about to become automated.
If you transferred a boomer 30 years into the future they would shit themselves and curse god for being born in the 20th century.
Of course the optimal time to be alive will always be the 29th century but beggars and all that...

And you are not going to be the benefactor.
You will be the one eating the AI produced bug cream.

Be Japan when had 100-150% debt/gdp ratio, pay negative rates.
Be Germany with 100-150% debt/gdp ratio, pay near zero.
Be America with under 150% debt/gdp for many years, pay pay pay.
What good is being an empire when it means paying more for debt on top of the military costs?
It wouldn’t be as bad, except so much of the debt is foreign held.
And some people act like America hasn’t been sold out for generations.

Americans enjoy immense prosperity because of their empire and they don't even realize it. Yes things aren't as good as they were in 1960 when the rest of the world was just recovering from ashes but they are still much better than elsewhere. You have no idea how hard it is to make it in Europe. It's bad enough in places like Germany but if you're southern European or French it is near hopeless. Our economies have never really recovered from 2008. Salaries have gone nowhere, taxes have gone up, everything is more expensive. In America there is a lot of poverty and sure in Europe the state will feed you if you are a white nigger but that just drags everybody who isn't down. I don't care if Cleetus who can barely read and write can't afford his healthcare because of his extreme obesity and job at WalMart. I do care that I earn €33k but only take home €23k ontop of 25% sales tax and countless other fees.

Boomers are the most delusional generation ever. They lived in the greatest economic golden age in human history: Post WW2 United States. They are a spoiled, pampered, weak generation and they will be remembered as the generation that caused America to fail. The Silent Generation has far more wisdom to offer, but sadly there aren't many left.

You completely ignore the devaluation of dollar, mass immigration, feminism, increase in taxation. Things should be even better than in the 60’s because of technological progress, the world economy is not zero sum. What a stupid thing to say

It was literally the silent generation who participated in the 60’s cultural revolution and were voting for jewish policies like segregation when boomers were still broke students and teenagers.

For most boomers, work was really just a social activity. They just fucked around all the time and could get by if they knew how to operate a calculator.

most of the silent generation seemed to miss the fact that the dollar left the gold standard and acted like 1 USD was still worth 1/20th of an ounce until they died
they were unironically retarded and constantly said shit like
>don't you know the value of a dollar? back in my day you could get an ice cream cone for a nickel. darn kids
strong work ethic but they were incapable of seeing that the high-trust, sound money society they grew up in had disappeared sometime in the 70's

The earliest Boomers were students involved in the 60’s cultural revolution. Their leadership were Silents.

This is a fairly reasonable take. Gas the boomers.
