I think 7 is the floor, but you might get one last big leg down to 6 or 5. 1500 seems to be the floor for eth, but again you might get down to 1200, or even sub 1000, but the odds are getting more slim at this point, in my opinion.

The previous dump took us to $6. wykoff shows each dump is lower volume. Sellers are getting demoralized. We also have sellers up to $8.5 buying back in. This could be the final call before a move toward $10. Wykoff says we hit teens. Bear will happen again but not until Wykoff plays out.

Can someone give me a qrd on wykoff. Yes Ive read about it etc but I need someone who really understands it to distill it. How do you know which phase were on? Seems its highly subjective and you could fit it to charts in several ways

>> No.50711600

>>50711137
I don't think I'm a TA pro but I will comment. I was reading the last thread on this. It's even more interesting because the last OP referenced a newer variation of the Wyckoff accumulation as the rising gradient wyckoff.

TA is semi subjective due to the nature of the market, but there are general schematics (like in the top right) of OP's picture. There are rules which confirm the event is occuring or is confirmed. They are allocated based off relative trading volume and matched up to the schematics.

Phase A starts when the preliminary support (ps) is broken, this has a sharp selling climax (sc) and a quick rebound to an automatic rally (ar). A secondary test (st) will try to go back down to the sc, but will fail to do so.
You can generally identify Wyckoff at the start of Phase B where a big rally occurs and then fails, but rebounds (secondary test). The "trading range" is drawn based off those lines. You can see OP mapped these events that conforms to the schematic.

Phase B generally concludes when volume diminishes because the buyers and sellers are demoralized, which conforms again. Then Phase C will start to see higher volume again.
Phase C often tries to retest the lowest "ST" to really clear out any of the last weak hands, but because so few weak hands remain the price rebounds again quickly. Then everyone turns bullish because they see there aren't any sellers left and only buyers remain.

What's interesting here, is the OP in the last thread mentioned this is a different type of Wyckoff known as a rising gradient which is far more bullish than the standard wyckoffs because there is much more buying pressure. It means a spring might not even happen.

tl;dr - TA is based on pattern matching and following a set of general rules. Just like a horse has four legs, a tail, eats hay and neigh's. Or how OP's mom weighs more than 500lb's and has a penis.

>> No.50711646

>>50711600
The weekly RSI never went under 30 but the pumps have been shitty in exchange.
ETH dumped more and then recovered more.
What makes you think this would be more bullish?

The only difference is that LINK stopped crashing earlier while the rest was crashing with enough buy orders, but it still needs a push to go higher.
The news catalyst needs to be good.
Everything depends on the SmartCon...

>> No.50711687

>>50711137
Seems like something which only works in hindsight.
It's best to look at it as a range which has been left unbroken by the last ETH and BTC dumps.
The support seems strong enough to absorb high selling pressure and the selling pressure is weakening.

In that case exiting the range on the top would be bullish and mean there is no one left to sell and the buying pressure is too high for the lower price.
Market manipulators may try to do a fake out and make people think it will go to the other side to make them sell before which would be called the spring.

The apparition of Wyckoff patterns should be a direct ticket to jail for exchange trading platforms.

>> No.50711709

>>50711646
I'm not sure what you're getting at, the chart is showing what the chart is showing. There are a hundred different metrics you can measure against but it looks pretty clear to me that there aren't many sellers. The pumps being shitty looks to be pretty in line with the trading range for the Wyckoff channel.
You could join in and be one of the "late sellers" if we ever do get a spring.

>> No.50711713

Why is LINK performing so shit against the market with everything coming up? We lost another rank, now 24 in market cap and actually far behind 23... We were close to the top 20 a couple weeks ago, there's no bottom against ETH or BTC it seems

A common theme among many who bought crypto near the distribution, not unique to link. I can see many good bull cases. A shift back into the teens will of course create a further case for a rise back into the $20+, $30+ and $50+ ranges. Targets are set, then the next cases are evaluated.

This is the 2nd time he has posted it. What are you on about?

Lately I'm beginning to understand why noLinkers are so agitated all the time. Every time they see LINK mentioned (be it FUD, shitpost or positively) and the thread is bumped, they see it as a separate instance. Of course you are going to be butthurt and fed up when you perceive LINK as being mentioned a factor 10 more than it actually is. This is a prime example. In yesterday's thread there was an anon who claimed Linkies have been calling Wyckoff distribution endlessly for months, while the archives prove otherwise. Really odd.

What is there to cope with? I'm here everyday and it's a faulty claim that Linkies have been shouting Wyckoff since last year. Why? Because if anything, LINK was in a Wyckoff distribution pattern which is BEARISH. If you check the archives, you see it's mostly people shorting and laughing how the Wyckoff distribution is going to wreck LINK (it did).

So not only is he wrong, it was the exact opposite of his claim. This Wyckoff accumulation pattern didn't start till after the crash of may this year, and hasn't become visible until a few weeks ago. Cope, seethe, dilate.
