>bridgeless interoperability solutions
FYI there's no such thing as being truly bridgeless.

Fundamentally if you have sovereign chain X and sovereign chain Y, if you want to move token X from chain X to chain Y you need lock the tokens on chain X and create new versions of them on chain Y.
There's no way around this fact. You either build vertically on top of chain X with L2+'s, or you need some form of the lock/mint cross-chain transfer mechanism.

Things like IBC have this interoperability decentralized and built into the protocol level which makes it safer, but it's still a variation on lock/mint transfers.

So if anyone says "Here's a bridgeless interoperability solution", it's bullshit.

>So if anyone says "Here's a bridgeless interoperability solution", it's bullshit.
if there existed a protocol for this you would not need a bridge
you could have it lock assets by signing tx's on both sides
it doesn't exist atm because the support for it would need to be implemented as part of the opcodes of both blockchains, and it would not easily work for ERC-20 tokens
with eUTXO it would be way simpler to implement as you only need to lock the UTXO
