Did you do 11? Otherwise you would have needed to not break any “company policies” or violated that proprietary agreement which is what I assume is a confidentiality agreement

>> No.50679932

>>50679887
Yes, I returned all company property on the 14th. I never had anything stored on my computer. Also, only showed my mom this document on the day I signed it, and have since shown an attorney at her office who suggested sending a demand letter to the company for breach of contract.

Sounds like they're bankrupt. With what money are you expecting to get paid?

>> No.50680178

>>50680145
idk. they're currently in the process of selling assets to pay creditors. My hope is that if I have some legal document to send them, I'll actually get something. They breached their own contract.

if they're selling shit to pay creditors it's likely they're insolvent. if the company doesnt have enough to pay you after trading insolvent then the corporate veil may be lifted and you could chase the owners directly for payment. do it quick before creditors get to them and they file for bankruptcy

if they have any debt then bankruptcy proceedings will first go to senior/preferential creditors, then the the VC/PE jews, and then, at the very end, wagies. OP could pay a jew layer $500 to confirm this.

>Thank you for your inquiry, OP. We will need to schedule a consultation to properly advise you on this matter. Our office administrator will be sending you our credit card authorization form for the consultation fee along for the time spent drafting, proofreading, revising, and sending this post. Thank you for contacting Shekelberg & Chaddington LLP.

But seriously, just get a lawyer to write a demand letter and file a civil claim when they ignore the letter.

might take too long and you really want to get paid before any insolvent trading shit goes down. meet up with the boss and play nice, and if he disagrees let him know you'll be coming after his wallet personally if he has been trading insolvent. still no then straight to lawyer

>Hey boss man, I know the company just went under but how about you write me a check for $30k? Pretty pretty please?

Absolutely delusional. OP either needs to sue and be prepared to wait and pay up to half his award to his lawyer or move on with his life.

For those interested, I just got off the phone with my lawyer and former boss. Lawyer told me to track down everything, and put together a document. Former boss is currently helping Sherwood Partners with the liquidation. He gave me points of contact for that. He also said I lucked out bc my agreement was so much larger than his. Thanks for all the help and hate. lol.

this is actually incorrect - under most labor laws even in USA - the wagies are the very first shareholders to be paid out in a bankruptcy proceeding

>> No.50686816

I got a hold of the guys handling the assignment and they sent me a POC (Proof of Claim) form. Just need to fill it out and wait, I guess.
