Were the price to rise to 1,000,000$ you would be able to place a limit sell order for within 3% above and of course any price below it, meaning the new cap for day or 30-day GTC limit sells would be 1,030,000$ - they had too many people putting in 214k 30-day GTC limit orders and so their broker, BofA, said it was fucking up their risk calculation and made them lower the limit post-split.
