I used to post threads about being in 6 figure hell when I was a pleb but I've reached 7 figures now (I have 1050k) and I still feel the same

> can't buy any real estate I want
> if I buy a flat I'll lose at least half my stack (in my country a decent flat is 500k eur/usd, don't dispute it)
> "millionaire" but only have 1 million, not actually rich enough to do anything cool
> rapid inflation destroying my net worth
> have no job or other income
> on the absolute precipice of making it but still a poorfag

What do I do bros? Crypto is scamming hard too recently. I'm scared to trade. Fuck. This is gonna sound bad to those of you that are down bad but I feel I need at least 2-3 million to be comfy, and 10 mil to truly have "made it".

FUCKING HATE THIS SHIT WHY IS IT SO HARD

Shit I'm in 6 figure hell and I thought I'd be fine once I made it to 7 figures, I'd cash out into safe dividend stocks, quit my job, work on my own hobbies.
I guess that shit really doesn't get much better, still wouldn't be able to afford a comfy home and be retired in my country.
I could keep waging and let the 7 figures double up my income, so the next million will be faster, but would that even be enough? With inflation it would probably need to be 3-4 million before retirement is comfy, which I guess would be even faster once I hit 2 million, and I think at least at that point I could stop waging while still growing my wealth..

So there's your answer OP, get a job and wage until 2 million, you'll get there even faster with the 1 million.

Want to know a story? I got early into btc and completely pulled out forever at 45k. Made 7.2M. I came.
I bought a 200m2 in my city and a villa 1st line on the beach, new Audi, new bike and spent 20k on cigars. Quit my job.
Life is still miserable. I have lots of "make it" shit but the boredom and day to day emptiness returned maybe 6 months after cashing in. Half my friends got jealous and started being shitty to me with retarded excuses. New women I meet are shallow whores and honestly often not that hot to act like the gold diggers they are, and the girls I know from years ago (humble, wife material girl types) are surprised of me becoming rich but not particularly interested in me sexually/romantically.
It's just the same life I had with new luxurious surroundings and not having to work, which means fuck all.

>> No.50637974

I would live off dividends and maybe try to trade with small amounts that remain after expenses. Nothing is as valuable as time as a healthy young man, everything that you could buy with more than a million is piss compared to the freedom of not having to work.

Get a job in a restaurant. Talk to people. Get enough experience to get hired in an upscale fancy-but-informal restaurant. This is the dream because most of your colleagues will be kinda smart, verbally gifted pretty girls. Get yourself to go into work as often as possible and chat them up.

Do this 6 months and you will be one punch man but for small talk.

These two things will have made you, at least superficially so, more attractive than 98 percent of men.

So I am you bro, and I'm long $24k in VIX calls as a hedge against my $1M long ETF portfolio. My dad always said you have to take some risk in this world and spending $20k to long volatility in a week where my long positions pumped $50k+ is a risk I'm willing to take. We may not be ultra rich, but the fed is creating new life long slaves with every print like this and we are at least not slaves (yet). The volatility is artificially being kept low, these low volume pumps are keeping the vix low, and I'm rolling these calls until they print. I can get into some TA on the daily VIX chart if your interested. But this place is a clown world. #s do not matter, words do not matter, money does not matter, it's all priced in and temporary. It's all ogre now that they have settled and have become responsible husbands.

That's my plan. Unfortunately I lost a lot in the last 2 months. From 500k to 300k. So my plan is to go back to 500k and travel around the world. I come from the 2nd/3rd world and I know how to make money last. I recommend you to never stop learning. Maybe getting into investing or coding and making your own project. There are many stocks and reits right know, specially non-us ones, that can safely offer 7%+ divs a year, with growing revenues at/above inflation. I can live a good life with $1.5-$2.5k. You can live a really good life with double of that if you plan well. Go to SEA and become a king. Or to the Caribbean, or to Eastern Europe if it's your preference. And focus on new life projects. Good luck anon.

I hit the 7 digit club as well this past year. I realized all the profits before the major crash in April, took my family on a few nice dream trips, and I just live at home with them while I wait for the housing market to cool down a bit before I buy a place. I play vidya, code dApps, eat tendies, and relax. I am not stupidly rich where I can just retire right now but I likely will never have to work past 30 if I play my cards right.

I am incredibly bored. I want to go further but I legitimately hit all my goals I just am not sure what to do anymore. Not to mention, the people who are associated with money are some of the most horrible people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Most are coke addicted, gold digging, cutthroat assholes who would sell you out for a dime. I rather just sit inside and play vidya while spending time with my parents before they get too old to do anything anymore.

Why wouldn't you start up a small business, or buy up some land and try and grow some cool shit, or try and do anything with that money that may not be optimally profitable but could turn a profit with an element of risk involved? Why wouldn't you at least try and make that money do some cool shit? Maybe it's just because I'm broke so I don't have that perspective, but isn't the point of having fat stacks that it gives you the stability to just try shit out and see how you can make the money move?

All material things come and go, are born into existence, serve their purpose, and decay, all material pleasures and attachments ultimately lead to suffering. The way to peace and happiness is to release all attachments, cut the tree of desire at its root, and come to peace in one's self, not the false idea of self that exists in the mind but the true transcendent Self that shines through all things.

Then, you will be happy and have a million dollars which is way better than just being happy or just having a million dollars

I was advised in 2017 by trust worthy and respected people like John Lennon that btc will be $10 million by 2020. So I fomo’d in 2017 when btc was very expensive at $2k and bought 100 for $200k with my whole life savings. I never traded or sold and feel like I should have made at least 300 bitcoins from that stash if I had learned how to trade but I didn’t want to pay taxes so I just held. Everyone lied and my bag did not reach $1000 million by 2020, it’s nearly 2023 and you guys are even refusing to pay $100k for BTC let alone $1 million. A lot of 2017 fomo investors like me want to get out and you guys have to start paying at least $100k for btc soon. Yes it’s not the $1 million like we were told but we will settle for $100k to get back to real money and feel safer having it all in a real bank so we can buy things with the cash like houses, land, stock market shares etc.

>> No.50651507

I made $2.6M clear of taxes and still feel like it isn't enough. I'm drawing maybe $60k a year on expenses and I consider that a lavish upper middle class lifestyle. The thing about making it via crypto or other investments is that you effectively have to be a gambling addict, and/or give yourself a gambling addiction to really pay close enough attention and make the moves you need to make to get rich. But even after you get rich the gambling addiction remains, and it's likely that you yeeted a ton of other shit out of your personality to make room for that addiction. So you end up sitting on a pile of cash with no interests or hobbies, and in fact the things you used to remember enjoying no longer do anything for you, all that's left is the urge to keep risking your money for another payday, again and again, even though you should be in capital preservation mode at this point.

I still consider much of the current stock market and economy to be fake, I don't think a retard like me could ever have made this much money from $10k starting capital except in clown world, I see too many other retards like me who got rich doing nothing the past two years, I see inflation chewing away at my stack every day, I see being a millionaire being less and less impressive every year. So I still constantly feel an urge to try to 'get ahead' of the market. I chucked $200k into SQQQ at the start of the month which is down 40%, I knew it was a bad play even as I made it, and I didn't even care. I could have spent all last month reading books, meeting people, doing hobbies and enjoying my life. Instead I watched myself lose money just to feel something. After all if I lose money on the trade it proves I'm a retard (which I believe to be true), if I make money on the trade it proves everyone else is a retard (which I also believe to be true). Everything is retarded, nobody seems to see that, everything deserves to go to zero, my portfolio, your portfolio.

Just put it all into gold and silver lamo, precious metals are undervalued and are also a inflation hedge. All you need is a 10x in real purchasing power to make it. In the 1970's gold bull market from the bottom gold went up like 25x in nominal value. Just imagine how much gold stocks went up probably hundreds of times. Now Silver... Silver has been doubly suppressed and historically outperforms gold in bull markets... But this was in the 70's/80's when industrial demand for silver was still reasonable, when there was still 10 tens the above ground stockpiles of silver compared to gold. Today there is more GOLD above ground than silver and silver is used in innumerable industrial applications. Silver is one of those strategic metals that modern civilization cannot continue without, it is a metal that has had it's priced rigged through the paper derivatives market resulting in it being a absurd 99% down in real terms from it's 1980 high.

If you ask me the safest investment you can make that has a huge potential return is physical silver.

Oh boo hoo hoo, you can buy a house and still half of your net worth left.

These 4chan threads about "6 figure hell, 7 figure hell, 8 figure hell" are absolutely insufferable. This thread is likely a larp anyways, but if it is real, then you truly are a spoiled fuck.

If you want true despair, then try being in 3 figure hell or lower. Try not even having an emergency fund to cover your expenses. Try living paycheck to paycheck. If you've suffered those things, then we can talk again.

You guys need to understand there is a biochemical reality of dopaminergic response where there really is no way to stay at a stimulated, elevated level of dopamine in the brain.

In TA terms, imagine your life as a chart, the candles would all be tightly in a Bollinger Band around the mean. At long time frames, the trend is up a little, down a little, and everything else being equal, any situation your brain finds itself in will regress to the mean.

The brain is like a machine: elevated dopamine levels cause the reabsorption of dopamine until levels fall to baseline. This is statistically no different than "regression to the mean".

You cannot ever sustain happiness- or sadness (for typical brain chemistry). You cannot truly re-experience the same feeling twice. Your highs will always crash, and your lows will stick to your consciousness, with a slightly negative bias (evolved survival bias for threat detection/avoidance).

You are depressed only because you thought shit worked a different way. It doesn't. Most normal people wake up everyday back at baseline. People who work everyday and don't trade crypto and are literally poor are happier than you, as a result. Believe it.

What can you do with this knowledge? Stop trying to compensate by blowing up your account trying to swing for the fences, or spending money on more short term dopamine spikes. The desire to get back that "high" is no different than the crack addict and just as disastrous

>> No.50665526

>>50665497
correct but its not scientific it is ontologic as in a deeper part of reality. All highs define lows and vice versa. You cannot have one without the other even in language.
its not about brain chemistry though of course it emerges as such there too

7 figures is not "hell" because you have enough capital to sustain your existence without having to work.

That means you can use your capital to create more capital - dividends, yields in crypto, or buying a house and using the rest to invest in crypto.

Do you even lift? Do you know how to play an instrument? Do you travel? You need goals in life to be happy, the pursuit of those goals is what gives you purpose, and that purpose gives you a feeling satisfaction. Sitting on your ass all day on 10 million or whatever is never going to make any human on earth happy.

That's why so many of those OG crypto made-it people ended up dead or hooked on hard drugs.
