I am or have already lost faith in Cryptocurrency. I'd maintained my faith in the Blockchain tech but now with the ETH purge proposal I can't logically and sanely defend that (Blockchain tech) anymore. it all seems like a lie.
and the sad part, I feel I've known it was a lie but was lying to myself about it's potential benefit.
Now when I see shit like this;
>picrel
it just makes me realize how fucking foolish I was.
Coins should never function like this.
for a whole week, the market could be getting dp'd and pegged hard only to turn foot on the 7th day and like 10+ coins all go up together as if dancing in unison.
am I just being a paranoid dumbass or is shit like;
>picrel
proof of market manipulation?

also, my friends who I used to argue with irl about how crypto was the future and Blockchain tech is here to make the world better - they are going to rail me so fucking hard *forehead slap*

Of course. The NSA can pump your shitcoins by just pumping BTC. If you are a bad goy, they will just dump BTC so your coin goes to zero.
Kek.

but didn't the south JUST get crypto really?
with the push by Venezuela's gov to make BTC a legal tender (I wonder how the fuck that closed door meeting went) they JUST got into crypto in a sense.
why lower the Western standard to match the South's standard? why not lower the European/Eastern standard as well?

is this world really just a theme park for the dark and powerful and the rest of us are the amusement rides?
I'm not suicidal but sometimes I feel "What's the fucking point?"

1. I don't own any ETH
the reason the ETH news means so much is this is going to set precedence.
2. When I was very into crypto, I never liked XRP
ripple labs is the epitome of bank 2.0 and is exactly everything crypto was meant to defeat
3. Me not liking the scam XRP is doesn't mean I'm looking down on you
Yes, you really have to be smooth brained to be invested in XRP and that's not disrespect, but just facts.

as a American I can tell you from personal experience, the US economy is fucked and properly fucked at that.
let me give you just a slight example;
---
I live in what is considered a "rent control" property. basically meaning, the more money I make the more my rent goes up. the only way my rent comes down is if I lose my employment.
think about that for a second;
If I make more money my rent increases;
if I don't make any money my rent decreases to a specific level based upon whatever income comes in and if I am unemployed then that means no income but still rent.

this country is predatory on its own population,
businesses are predatory on its own customers
renters are predatory on their residents.

the US dollar will not reign

Alts are valued in sats. Bitcoin goes up, the bots buy up alts to maintain their valuation in btc. Btc goes down, same thing. Unless there’s some news that affects only some particular alt, it has no reason to deviate from its btc valuation.

First research who David Chaum was and his "fight" against the NSA
David Lee Chaum (born 1955) is an American computer scientist, cryptographer, and inventor. He is known as a pioneer in cryptography and privacy-preserving technologies, and widely recognized as the inventor of digital cash. His 1982 dissertation "Computer Systems Established, Maintained, and Trusted by Mutually Suspicious Groups" is the first known proposal for a blockchain protocol.[1] Complete with the code to implement the protocol, Chaum's dissertation proposed all but one element of the blockchain later detailed in the Bitcoin whitepaper. He has been referred to as "the father of online anonymity",[2] and "the godfather of cryptocurrency".
Also while Chaum was in grad school at Berkeley, the U.S. National Security Agency became suspicious. “They were trying to stop any kind of research in cryptography,” says Chaum. Organizers of meetings of civilian cryptographers were actually threatened with imprisonment by the director of the NSA, he added. To protect the young technology, Chaum held a conference and used it to launch the International Association for Cryptologic Research, (IACR) “to set cryptography free.”

As you can see
>Chaum's dissertation proposed all but one element of the blockchain later detailed in the Bitcoin whitepaper.
>NSA were trying to stop any kind of research in cryptography
>The World’s Oldest Blockchain Has Been Hiding in the New York Times Since 1995
As you can see this all predates Bitcoin by a long time.

I can't proof to you that BTC was invented by the NSA due to their nature of their business.
However in June 2011 right after Gavin Andresen was paid by the NSA to explain BTC to them.
>Full disclosure: I'll be paid a one-time fee of $3,000 to cover expenses and pay me for my time.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6652.0
>one month later bitcoin plummeted in value from a peak of $32 to just $0.01
>Hacker gained access to Jed McCaleb’s administrative account
If the NSA would deem BTC a threat couldn't they just buy up all of the supply? Even at $32 let alone $0.01.
It's proven that the top 1000 BTC wallets own more than 40%
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-08/the-bitcoin-whales-1-000-people-who-own-40-percent-of-the-market

Besides Homeland Security knows who Satoshi is.
Rana Souad of Homeland security admits it on a video.
https://youtu.be/MAOrjlub4Qc?t=2678
So why isn't Bitcoin being declared an unregistered security?

I don't think my theory is weird at all since Gavin obviously mentions:
>That he was worried that talking about BTC will increase the chances they'll try to do something we don't want them to do
>accepting their invitation could mean it would be less likely to be seen as a threat
>him being invited means it was already on their radar

>it's no winning in this world.
You are going to win and you are going to make it, anon. I believe in you.
>defeated, controlled, manipulated for all eternity.
Unironically, yes.
There's no escaping.
