Electrum seems to be a great way for a standard without the problems bimetallism brings.
Say 1 dollar = 40 grams of silver + 1 gram of gold.
This way you dont equate gold to be x amount of silver by law.

The dollar retains value well because of its gold content, do the suddenly find a lot of gold? Vice versa.

Thanks to the large silver to gold ratio you would also be able to mint relatively small coinage.

Our biggest semi modern versions, the 10 fr hercule (0.72 oz.) and the 50 fr hercule (0.87 oz.) are in especially high demand from africans (they probably use it as an actual trustworthy payment system when they go back) and it is seeing significant 25%+ premiums.

I was unironically paying less for 5F/50F coins back when the spot was at $28 than now it's at $18 lol.

People finally catched up about french cheapies who were availible up until earlier this year. Now everything have been bought out.
I spent over 17K€ in 5F semeuses on ebay alone over the past 2 years, took as much as i possibly could while it lasted, so no regrets for me.

i always go to this general but i never see anything terribly impressive.
most of these stacks are maybe $1000, max $10,000.
do even a single one of you hold more than just your pocketmoney in precious metals? im talking atleast 5kg in gold.
