Learn the fundamentals of why code works the way it does: syntax, functions, processes
Tackle basic logic while you're at it. Unironically look into indie game-dev tutorials for learning proper structures.

Do this and "languages" become irrelevant. You'll mog all the bootcampers/CS grads who learned "just enough" math to meet the pre-reqs for whatever gay class they were taking. Telling someone to "get into coding" is fucking useless if they have zero critical thought. Don't even get me started on data science. Literal senior "software engineers" have zero clue as to what standard deviation is and end up doing their data science masters online at WGU or some shit (which is usually just a shitty, truncated elementary statistics course)
