And I'm happy. Anyone else feel this way? I can't stand the side hustle/grindset meme that keeps being pushed on young people. I'm perfectly content waking up, exercising, reading a bit, eating, and being out in nature. Money has no meaning. I sometimes get into the mindset that I have to start my own business to 'get ahead', but I quickly remember that isn't me.

All that require money, and you also need to forget about ever having a wife and kids.

Personally I've had a taste of this lifestyle and it's just jot for me, it really made me feel like shit. I don't enjoy working but I need it to fully enjoy my time off. Without it I just find myself imaginary problems.

Just cook one, it literally just rotates on its own. Get an oven that does that, my cheap one does. By buying a rotisserie chicken you're missing out on the most important part of it: the chicken juice

I'll most likely die alone, so why even do all this shit? Why do I even bust my ass wagecucking? Doing overtime, ever? I don't need to buy a house or a fancy car or ever worry about having a family or a partner of any kind, so why bother? Who am I doing this shit for?

True but for I need nowhere near 8 hours of work a day to fill that need. 3 hours is more than enough, and it doesn't have to be wagie work, it could just be something like learning how to play piano for 3 hours a day. You'll still feel like you're applying yourself

I don’t want more kitchen appliances, I have too many as it is
Can I do it in a instant pot and still have it crispy and golden brown?
Usually I buy a chicken then instant pot the bones to make bone broth then add the chicken with veggies for soup and make chicken salad with the left over meat
It lasts me a couple days

>> No.50555432

Same.
I just trade to stay afloat in a very modest way. I don't like to spend money on frivolous shit. I have no family whatsoever. I just have my little apartment which my later father bought and left me with.

It's comfy. I don't care about much else.
I trade in btc, champ, kda, eth and icp if you were wondering.

I'm the same way. I do need to find work though to be able to pay my bills. I have no desire for much of anything; as long as I have the house, the ability to pay for its utilities I inherited, my car and the ability to eat I'm good. I have no real strong desire to date or anything (I'm nearly 30) and I don't have any expensive hobbies (not even gaming) so I have no real incentive to try to be rich. I just wish to be comfortable financially.

It's okay, really. I'm mostly indifferent. Certain things, like my house, I'd gladly trade to have my mom back that's for sure. As I said though, I don't want for much - I just wish to keep what I have, plus the ability not to worry about being one big expense worrying me. I don't give a shit about Lambos nor do I care about backpacking through Europe or anything. One day in the not so distant future I'll likely be inheriting a life changing amount of money (not like Hilton or Trump-tier stuff or anything close, mind you) and I can't see my day to day changing at all.

I had some ambitions as a preteen but after 8 years of suicide inducing despair from School and my Father they went away.
I became completely apathetic towards my future at 14 and finally started feeling comfortable about myself. 12 years later I'm only getting happier as the years go by, all I need is a device with an internet connection and something to eat, anything else is extra and an internet connection is laughably easy to obtain in this age.

It's embarrassing sharing a board with anons who post about how insecure they are about what kind of car they own or how they're viewed by their coworkers, acting like fucking women.

True but it need to be something that I have to do, not just some random intellectual work that I can do or not without consequences.

I agree what is needed is nowhere near what we do as wagies, working about 20 hours per week is the true ideal in my opinion. It should be the standard, especially knowing that most works that is made in 40 hours a week could be done in half the time by cutting all the bullshit.

Greed... as a motivation... is an odd type of fuel.

It seems to stem from a lack of self assuredness that says: "when i am rich i will be safe."

You wont really be safer because money is a racket worked out by the banks and taxation and you will lose that game. But hey, it will be a wild ride.

Some people... myself included put their "stocks" in other things... like intellectual pursuits. There is always a cap on what you can earn, and it slowly trickles away... this doesn't happen with knowledge quite the same way.

Just something to think about.
