you can only actively access a limited amount of coin 'apps' depending on which ledger you have, but you can always uninstall an app after you loaded up your wallet, and reinstall it when you need to access it again

Crypto is not like the stock market, you do not want a crypto index fund. Things on the S&P 500 do not do -99% moves but this is fairly common in crypto. Look at the top 20 list a few years back and most are unrecognizable. The odds are high that one of these will go to zero and then you will need a 2x from something else just to break even.
