Cash is insolvent.

still good short entries. recession announcement isnt priced in. there are millions who invest purely on the FEDs announcements. everybody is numb and are too scared to take action, or are trying to ignore the market thinking a recovery is just around the corner. numbness is yet to turn to anger. we are nowhere near the end of this bear market.

The time a recession has been announced we would have already been in it and come out of it, LMAO, Imagine waiting for a recession.

we already are in a recession i agree, however you dont understand the number of people who do not take action on their investments day in day out. these people wait for the announcement, and are obviously the ones who get washed for everything, however it doesnt take away from the fact it will cause an insane selloff. people are scared, but theres no panic yet. everything is positioned to be far worse than past recessions, yet there is no fear in the street. it is the calm before the storm.

They took down the whole bull formation
And put us in this bearservation
Took away our ways of life
The weed, the tendies and respite
Took away our terra coin
And taught their shitcoins to our young
And all the gains we made by hand
Are nowadays made in Rajahstan

I don't think we'll even notice a change in anything, there'll be QE5 eventually and all will be back to "normal". The economy can only inflate more and more, how does it all end? Well it can't end because it's all we have (or are allowed to have). We are entirely controlled and are forced to live within their system (for now).

unfortunately for the US they underestimate, or lie about, how much the global reserve currency status means to them. the loss of the global standard will seriously cripple the us more than anyone is prepared to admit, and a continuation of irresponsible QE will further incentivize other countries to move away from the standard. the us has been living outside of its means for over a century now. "normal" is far from a good description of their economy and standard of living. i fear for your people and the standard of living you have become adjusted to at no fault of your own.
tldr it can end. economies do end. too big to fail is a perfect description of the us

One empire falls while another rises, going to war is now no longer acceptable by 99% of the population, they don't have the appetite for it. I think we are heading towards blockchain wars in the future and whoever has the biggest hash calls the shots. The reserve currency will be in BTC and it's not limited to any one singular nation. The larger nations will try and be in control and while the others will mine for GDP.

i agree with the hash wars to the point where governments will have large scale mining operations. it will be necessary to exert as much power and security over the new global standard as possible, and ensure power is not completely reserved to one country or group of allies. as for real war that is something inherent to the human condition and we are nowhere close to beyond that. we are heading towards a severe economic divide between those who hold btc and those who dont. lots of homelessness, suicide, crime, feeling of being cheated. the governments cannot look after their people in this revolution, unless they are willing to kill their own currency to purchase as much btc as possible and distribute the new store of wealth to their populous

It's never coming. The gold standard was dropped because it didn't work. Every 10 years we've had these arguments for the last century and gold always loses. Its because we don't study history that you are still here posting about historical cycles you don't understand.
