I had it when I tried to get my university degree and dropped out, had it when I started investing into crypto, now working at job

Everything is tainted by it. I am like running on emergency low thrust mode. First it was a situation now my personality stems from it
I can’t form relationships or enjoy any accomplishments I work towards to

I was neglected as a kid and generally would fit somewhere slightly on the spectrum/ADD.
But what’s the point if I get diagnosed about it. I already now it myself and If you go to therapy they label you as disabled. And then you go through the world telling yourself your disabled with out the symptoms getting any better
Just mind that I have sales related experiences, learned social skills, became very good at managing people and being competent. Being goal oriented and driven
But it’s still has changed nothing about my life situation outside of work

Do I really have to give in? My parents weren’t that typical by societal standards. Had a happy childhood but set me up to a bad start from age 13 and on. But I am taking up responsibility for years. Am I really that screwed, that mentally ill? Condition I can’t fix

It gets better when you get older. You'll eventually find a way to be happy or at least not sad. Honestly, 20s suck even if you're financially stable.

High functioning depression sounds like a made up mental illness to sell pills to the fools. Psychiatrists and pharma companies would starve if people simply stop believing this made up mental diseases

Do you do cardio and lift, anon? It sounds like /fit/ horseshit but exercise legit has a huge impact once you get into it. Usually the first thing doctors/therapists advise as well.

Should also add why exercise is a benefit - it's because it regulates a whole other bunch of other factors and brings them in line. If you go for long walks in the morning, gradually working up to runs and if you're lifting 4 times a week, say, then it compels you to make sure your diet is good (otherwise you'd be pissing in the wind and wasting your time). Suddenly you're eating clean protein and shoing veggies and fruit in your face. It also regulates your sleep patterns as well; I fall asleep like fie minutes after I lie down. And above all this is gives you a GOAL - something to work towards - and a goal that is measurable and visible, just look in the mirror after a month or so.

I don't really have any advice that would have 100% success rate, but I can tell you a few things that improved my life. I'm not depressed btw, but I was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
The first thing I started doing was going on walks, it's a pretty basic thing, you can even upgrade it to going running. Going outside is good for you.
To cope with dark thoughts I originally started writing a diary, but it was too depressing to read, so I got into creative writing. There is a good exercise to get the brain juices flowing if you're interested in creative writing - try to write three pages per day every day. Nothing specific, just write everything that comes into your mind, even the most basic things. Do this for a few weeks and you'll stop feeling conscious about your writing.
Finally I got into philosophy, nothing specific, I just read something from every imaginable philosopher. To be fair, most of philosophy is hot garbage, it's just complex ways of saying nothing. But if you want to read something from someone who was "functionally depressed" you might appreciate reading Schopenhauer. I personally prefer Nietzsche but Schopenhauer is good too. If you want to get more wild I recommend reading Tao Te Ching, I like to read it every once in a while.
Well, those three things helped me, so they might help you too. Either way, I hope you can help yourself to enjoy life more.

Was a Full blown NEET and essentially did a 180.
But I still leave the house for the same 2-3 same grocery stores, occasional fast food place, same gym. Drive to work and drive home. Don’t meet girls at my job
I am the same loner I was apart from having the small talk with coworkers

Nowadays you either manage to get pussy to your doorstep with out leaving the house or you don’t. Leaving is just the optional part is completely deattached

You guys need to be going on dates. And if your social circle isn't of the type where it presents you with opportunities to talk to random women, then you need to bit the bullet and use online options. Dont' buy into the polcel horseshit about these being frequented by cock carousel whores - the dudes parroting that shit are the same NEETs that thinkk they're going to turn 35 then land themselves a 21yo farmgirl virgin just by turning up to a church fete. The salient point here is women aren't going to magically appear on the doorstep; you've done the hard part and put the work in, shit should be easy from here so long as you aren't a total aspie.

100% aware of that, I am trying. Although I am trying more in real life social situations, because my experience with dating apps is not so good. Still trying, it isn't so easy as you portray it

That's cool, anon. Social skills are a bit like riding a bike - you're not going to be able to go all-terrain mountain biking right off the bat and you're going to fall on your ass a few times getting there. But it gets better and easier, bro.

>Nowadays you either manage to get pussy to your doorstep with out leaving the house or you don’t
Anon, you are so fucking wrong it is ridiculous. Get off your high horse and put yourself out there in front of new people without caring about social anxiety. I am a full time NEET who lifts like 3x a week, but more importantly I go to new places in my area explicitly trying to get better at talking to people. I have fucked 1 tinder girl and that's it with hundreds of matches, I have fucked 10 girls in the past 2 years just going to new places and randomly, physically meeting them for the first encounter. I am awkward as fuck and can't hold a girl down, however on the night you're looking to bone, all you have to do is smile and laugh and agree with her. Look at her face and make eye contact it's not going to fucking kill you.

Are you mentally disabled or something? Bald? Brown? Plebbitor? Manlet? How can things possibly be so bad for you that 8 years of lifting gets you ZERO pussy? Do you have someone else wipe your ass and tie your shoes for you too?

Not enough to be diagnosed I guess.
>Bald? Brown? Plebbitor? Manlet?
Not bald, not brown. I do not visit reddit. 5'9
>How can things possibly be so bad for you that 8 years of lifting gets you ZERO pussy?
Well obviously lifting alone doesn't magically grant you girls jumping on your dick, in my experience girls don't really give a shit about muscles that much, I still lift though because I love it. But I am trying in other departments as well

>> No.50525366

>You just need to be able to hold a conversation
I'd say much more than that is needed. I can hold a conversation with pretty much anyone easily, wouldn't survive in my workplace otherwise. The problem is getting beyond just mere talking, that's where I have to improve massively

>> No.50525416

>>50525366
Yeah, you're probably right. The difficult part is the 'escalation' from talking to getting them on a couch. But back to the bike analogy, people aren't popping wheelies when the only just take the training wheels off. It'll come.

I love lifting too and that's what my next focus is on getting a better body cause 3 lifts a week ain't cutting it. I saw a post that totally mirrors my experience too, where when I am gymming and running a lot, the universe just comes together to get me pussy it seems.
What kinda girls don't care about muscle??? That's malarkey bro. It's all in your head. If you want some real shitty advice that most people would hate here but it absolutely works - Go to a black bar and make friends with a drunk ass nigga there tell him you want some pussy, no shit these random people will just come around being your black wingman. Normies love blacks so you can use this to your advantage. I got this drunk ass somalian pirate looking guy to call up 2 hoes and I didn't have to do anything basically, because after you have a random group of people, you're like a snowball effect. I traded these 2 mid ass hoes for an upgrade: a goth mommy with big milkers and piercings. It's basically a game Anon, and you need other people to have a compounding effect on your social skills.

Playing the piano, fishing and 3D rendering. Besides lifting, of course. I also live near a beach so I swim a lot.

>What kinda girls don't care about muscle???
It's more that if you don't get girls with an average physique you probably won't get girls after becoming /fit/ either. Of course anyone would rather look at someone /fit/ than a fat person, but again getting girls is far more about other things than how much you lift. I am the best example of that.
>Go to a black bar
I first wanted to ask what the fuck is a black bar, but now I understand lol. There are no blacks or somalis anywhere around me, and this isn't just about me inserting my penis into a vagina, I'd just go to hookers if that's what I wanted. But I understand the snowball effect though yeah
