In the last month, Coinbase combined their USD and USDC markets, closed Coinbase Pro and turned off their affiliate program. This is after over a year of insiders selling $COIN stock which has absolutely cratered. I smell a liquidity crisis.

I buy BTC with USDC

Someone buys USDC with USD
>Coinbase now has 1 USD
What's the fucking problem?
Alternatively, there's enough liquidity to support the market as a whole with STABLECOIN transactions. Coinbase can literally fucking BUY USDC and EXCHANGE USDC FOR DOLLARS.
Are you fucking stupid?
This is about as dumb as screeching at the bank for "HOW THE HELL DO THEY DO IT?" when you use cash/digital cash on a daily basis.

Tl;dr: Coinbase Pro (previously GDAX) was always a separate entitity, even requiring separate KYC, now they're integrating it properly in the form of Coinbase Advanced Trade.

People here need to understand that crypto needs to fall back into a state of absolute irrelevancy in order to go through another phase of obscure price pumping action. Crypto is still fresh in every one's minds, so in my opinion, that's a clear sign that we're still no where near the bottom. We'll probably dump back into 15k and stay there for years and maybe go a little lower until we get another wonderful bull market. But the days of BTC being 3k are long gone. Also, crypto hasn't been through a recession yet, so we'll probably see some fucking scary or awesome shit within the next few years with crypto.
