I think the concept of asexuality is very blurry outside of academia though, and I expect how it's portrayed in woke communities to leak into science too over time. Some people have a very low libido, but have sex once in a while and experience sexual attraction and still call themselves asexual because they feel somewhat different from how society portrays sexuality in entertainment media.
