Too many over leveraged shorts/puts on market open -1.5%. Algos detect this and immediately pump to liquidate retail and collect profits.

Short term strategy is impossible if your bankroll is insufficient.

Just hold naked 3x inverse ETF and chill for 2 weeks until recession/rate hike on 27th

>HIGHER CPI = LOWER CONSUMER = LESS DEMAND

inflation is growth. Commodities went down because the prevailing narrative shifted from 'inflation' to 'deflation'. If inflation is truly sticky then growth will persist, and commodities get a bid. From a correlation perspective energy is by far the best performing sector in an inflationary environment, while energy stocks bottomed (on high volume) yesterday down less than 2% on a day where crude tanked 8%

the 'inflation' trade is long overdue to make a comeback, or at least a retracement. Only difference is the 10 year yield will NOT go up this time

It matters what institutions expected because that's what dictates price movement before the market knows what the actual CPI numbers are. It's probably not too far off from what they took into account or otherwise the market would either be dumping or pumping. It's sort of crabbing instead which means that this wasn't the worst case scenario.

Oil dropped because of fear of demand destruction caused by a recession which in turn is fed by fears of rate hikes. But payroll numbers still came in hot and now people are going to keep spring on oil which is going to drive that back up. Everything points to inflation turning higher and that the fed will need to hike faster. This whole market is a shit show.

The Fed is buying and selling the market so it slowly crabs down to “acceptable” levels. This is inflationary but who cares. Ultimately we will “solve inflation” by switching to a blockchain currency controlled by the central banks. We are basically already there but the usage of physical dollars needs to wiped out so they can control or monitor what you do and do not buy.

How do I this will happen? Easy. They told us, and we all when the crises is bad enough people WILL conform (maybe not everyone will, but they don’t need everyone, just the majority).
