This fucking wallet is eating up my hard drive space and I'm too retarded to know how to move it

Do you have your passphrase? You can use that to access your ADA. Unironically unless you're a peak autist don't use deadalus until they optimise it. I get it, it's a nice UI that "creates a legit node" and shit, but fuck that for 99% of use cases.

it's literally the same for every crypto wallet software. It amazes me how people can have money in crypto without knowing the first thing about it.

And like another anon said, people like you should just use light wallets like Yoroi. You can restore your wallet in Yoroi via your daedalus seedphrase/private key.
