Hey I need some advice. I’m 18 just graduated out of high school. Dad borrowed my car, broke it, and now won’t fix it. I have no job, had to quit my old one to focus on school. People have been telling me to just get a remote job but it’s not that fucking easy, I’ve applied to so many but they won’t even consider me. I learned how to code but no money equals no certifications. I think I might just have to resort to selling drugs. I have 240 dollars to my name. Please don’t recommend crypto it fucking sucks rn. I really need some advice unto how I can make the most of my situation without having to resort to doing illegal things. I’m being sincere can y’all help an anon out?

The vacuum system that connects to the fuel relay circuit has some grounding issues and I can’t get it to turn over.

Send out some applications for HVAC apprenticeships or go to trade school for a similar trade. Until then go get a job at Lowes/Home Depot/ACE Hardware/similar shit and start working 50 hours a week asap. Live at home for as long as you can to stack dough, buy some crypto.

and start lifting

You have a car, it's just broken. Not a car guy, but surely it's less than 1k to fix. This is your first goal. Is there not a hardware store nearby you could bike/walk to for your first job? Can your dad give you a ride or can you uber using your remaining cash? Do you have any friends that care about you that could give a ride?

It sounded like you meant the vacuum system has a bad ground. I'm going to assume that was just a miscommunication.
Why don't you fix the car?
Also, certs are not required for coding. At all. Whoever told you that is full of shit.
Instead of selling drugs, consider propagating house plants. Sell rooted Monstera/Pothos/Philodendron/Begonia cuttings to local moms and witchy thots on Facebook. Make an Etsy store. All you need is an aeroponic cloning box (an air pump or water pump + a box + a lid with holes cut in it).
You could also sell tomato starts, but it's too late in the season for that.

I can but no one is hiring, I live in one of my dads rental properties for free, I’m not even remotely close to him, he’s like 20 miles away. If I Uber the cash I have left would be gone in like a week. And I don’t like relying on people.

He took it back to his main house cause his car was in the shop and he didn’t fill it up parked on a hill and burned the whole system up.

No one is hiring? In this economy? There isn't a signal business in walking distance, even Mcdonalds? You realize in a week you will get a paycheck, you just have to survive 1 week.

Or join the military.

You say searching, but have you applied anywhere? They don't need a sign that says hiring. Send an email. This isn't something that is impossible, you just have to present yourself as a hard worker. For these jobs, you don't need a resume. No one cares if you're black. This isn't the 60s and you're not applying to be an executive, you're applying to stock shelfs/ flip burgers/ clean up messes. You fix your car, you quit that job, get a job at a warehouse or find your way into a entry level tradie job. From there, I hope you're smart and can apply yourself with a side hustle and learn to invest your money.
