Basically the dollar, as reserve currency, will surge against the other currencies. Emerging markets will crash the most devestatingly unless bailed out but so will Europe etc. The dollar is dying against cost of goods in the US but that is different that actual monetary real inflation, which has not happened to the dollar. So countries or institutions whose currencies are proportionately dying worse or who want to participate in repo or trade are incentivized (or (increasingly) necessitated) to buy US dollars or hold US treasury bonds because they don't consume goods in the US in dollars so its price parity against food in the US is not as immediately relevant. You can watch the DXY index which is mostly the dollar vs. the Euro and the JPY but you can also see the dollar vs. virtually every global currency surging. The dollar milkshake is a predictable escalation but it will likely be punctuated with paradigmatic change in the monetary system itself, which timing and particulars will leave you at risk. The one way would be to take out a decentralized loan in a crypto currency pegged to the JPY in exchange for USDC. As JPY dies USDC gains relative value. Alternately if you wanted to not deal with crypto, you could do so in the FX markets with fiat. Or play swap spreads between JPY treasuries and US treasuries. Or you could short JPY futures or long the DXY. There are other plays like this.
