Assuming they don't actually print infinite money, wouldn't a logistic curve make more sense for the long-term trendline than an exponential?

Sure. But in reality they print infinite money

The stock market is a metric of economic growth. Economies are living systems and living systems always grow exponentially unless they hit a limit of space and resources, then they stagnate and eventually die off completely. Assuming technology continues to advance therefore allowing humanity to continue breaking through limitations, and assuming nothing catastrophic happens wiping out a good chunk of the population and decimating the economy, exponential growth of the stock market will continue.

They don't have to overshoot/collapse though, they can just asymptotically approach their carrying capacity. And we do have limits on space and resources, even if they are just cognitive limits. The singularity is just a meme.

I fear for the market friends, every other coin is printing out money to the point where it's become infuriating. Only a couple of dogcoins like vinu are keeping a steady pump while holding out from printing money, the rest are just dead cat bounces and constant dumps, is this it?

wouldn't more inflation be beneficial for the coin?

you don't get how inflation works, imagine your grandparents gave you money to buy candy today. you decide to save the money and buy candy much later. after adding in inflation, you will not be able to buy as much candy as you could if you spent your money today. the same generality holds for other goods and services.

You don't necessarily make more and there's a good chance that what you do make is actually worth less. That said, inflation is good as long as it's reasonable because it incentivises spending and is a sign that the economy is growing. In the case of crypto it doesn't quite work like this but you get the idea

When inflation occurs, prices usually rise and then wages are raised as a reaction to rising prices, so the consumer always gets a little bit screwed as there is a period of time where things are expensive and we're not making more. Inflation really gets its bad name from stagflation, which is when inflation occurs and the economy stagnates, which results in higher prices and no change or cut wages.

In addition to wages, prices are usually sticky for a while - so your business will have less revenue compared to the value of a dollar. And then you have wages that are negotiated only periodically, so you may wind up with a labor union that can't renegotiate its wages for several years, regardless of how much inflation differs from the predictions.
