This is uh... one way you could look at it sure.

The other way would be to say that the US invented both the Internet and crypto as an escape hatch after fucking the rest of the world by being entrusted as the global reserve currency and then lolling off the gold standard in 1972, which is what enables crypto to have any value in the first place.

If you really want to see us fuck crypto, watch them issue a new reserve note that has convertibility for 1ounce of gold per $1,000 note.

Imagine those satoshi wallets waking up as bitcoin crosses the $10m "USD" mark (USD at that point obviously wouldnt exist and we'd be measuring bitcoin it terms of it's Doge convertibility)
