I watch a lot of DFV's videos nowadays, especially since valuing small-cap stocks has become my new hobby. What I find bizarre is how he puts so much emphasis on GME. His spreadsheets certainly did not indicate anything notable about it, and the other stocks in his folio certainly had some attractive reasons for buying or even going all in (which is why many of them went up 500% in a year). The skeptic in me says he either figured out that the short interest is insane and ripe for a squeeze, or he got validated through Burry's purchase, but I'm increasingly growing to believe he's some kind of insider or plant. The high quality branding, merch, and editing isn't helping.
