I'm looking to jump in right now because of the dip. Having watched silver for a decade and a half and regretting not buying in at $16. It is now nearly $20 spot. If it goes lower I'll buy more.

There's a time and place to accumulate commodities and that is a lifetime. It isn't how much fiat your coins are worth. It's how many ounces you have. My grandkids will have many. I've been planning this decision for a long time and am very excited to be here today to discuss it. I will have many ounces.

You have no ounces and your progeny will have less than this.

If there’s a short squeeze on gold and silver, all the banks will fail. Every single one. Eight of them are short gold and silver and they would have to pay trillions to cover shorts if gold and silver got to triple digits. The entire financial system will be destroyed if you do this. Gold and Silver is to the banks what GME is to Melvin Capital. Is this what you want to happen when we’re in the middle of a pandemic? If the banks fall apart you will wipe out every single person who is holding dollars. What the hell is wrong with you. America will be destroyed. Silver schmucks, what the Fuck happened to your price today?! Nevermind, I might have a clue: Cats got DUNKED on by real traders shorting the Shit out of your precious metals.

But make no mistake, this is just a small stop until we short your prices down to their rightful place of $8 per oz. Imagine that! Cats would only have to pay $20 extra for their premiums while their bullion dealers buy their bags at 5% below spot, Kek!

Real talk, MotherFuckers, we have actual old money in this play here, who the Fuck do you think you are? Not even decades of right wing nutjobs like Glenn Beck, Peter Schiff or Ben Shapiro could pump your prices!

On the wire scales or just Peter the Great in general? I don’t have any links off the top of my head, but on the topic if coins, I’d go onto numista or some other coin collecting archive site. From there you can see how Russian coins became actually coins during Peter’s European reforms. But his changes effected everything from Architecture to coins and military awards to literature. Speaking of Literature, books would usually be the best place to look for research, but I doubt you’d find many in English. I myself, learned most of what I know on it, by speaking to Russians with shared interests on places such as /pmg/.

So, is this a reverse psy-op and they try to make me think that if they make it extra atractive for me to buy PM, I could think this is too obvious and end up not buying PMs? Anyway, I will buy more. I like the Uncle Srootch feeling and the shiny colours.

They make new ones every year. Collectors like to have 1 of each year. There are different mintages for each year, so on a quieter year fewer are made thus for collectors they are more valuable. A shop will just buy it off you for melt value so don’t bother collecting stuff like different year maples. It’s different with things like kookaburras as the pic is different each year and it’s “fun” to collect the set or grab a few sequential years. Then try to collect the missed ones , but give up beacAuse you have to pay way more to fill out the early years. To use an old pol meme “a fucking leaf”
Speak to a yank over grabbing maples over eagles. As a starter just do the current year coin and buy the cheapest you can grab.

>> No.50105999

>>50105763
buy some maples if you like, year only matters if youre trying to collect each one, most stackers stacking bullion arent doing this, just get cheapest one.

if some years seem more expensive it might just be they minted less of them that year due to lower demand. as a rule, older is a little pricier.

britannias are also a nice choice to stack. american silver eagles are too expensive right now

Local coin shops or eBay. The rando antique mixed junk shop I went to today had loads. But almost all the 90% had been picked clean. Stuff that’s was left was overpriced by probs double what you can snag on eBay.

You can find some on websites, but again it’s usually collector grade and very expensive for what it is. If you’re in the UK the royal mint sells old stuff as does bullionbypost, but again it’s high end collector stuff. If you just want say a generic florin from 1890 or whatever just find one on eBay for £12 or buy a job lot from britanniacoincompany then sell them yourself.

To mine in Canada you need a Canadian front company to hold the mineral rights, this usually ends up on the TSX and also pays all sorts of taxes. Mining in Canada is run by outside investment, surprisingly most is from the US and Japan, China is probably the 3rd largest investor in Canada's natural resource / mining sector. The Canadian government actually recently started really taking a look at whos buying what in the sector and stopped a chinese company from buying out a Canadian mine in the arctic.
