Multiple times over the past few months I’ve brought up a variety of issues to my manager, and she told me not to worry about them because the would be resolved and I would not be penalized.

Now it’s June and about 4 of those problems have reappeared and I’m being penalized for them despite the fact my manager told me not to worry and that they would be handled. Unfortunately I only have written proof for one of these problems, the rest it was all done verbally.

What exactly can I do in the situation? I have other documentation to prove that these issues are not my fault, and I’ve forwarded it to my manager but she continues to give me the run around and now I’ve been place on a 3 month probation period at work. Literally all she has to do is escalate the issue, or set up a meeting with out QA team so I can address it head on but she continues to drag her feet.

Could HR help me? I don’t really care about ruining the relationship with my manager because I want to leave this job by the end of September any way, but it’s still stressful to have this BS going on, and it makes me not want to come into work.

managers aren't paid to resolve problems, they're paid to manage you. same with HR.

Gather what proof you have and go to HR. Mention that this is creating a hostile work environment for you, that you feel your concerns are being ignored by your supervisors, basically anything that will activate their "liability alarms." That will get someone off their ass to look at your problems.

>>50094904
naw, if you say 'hostile work environment' you have signed your own resignation.
if there is overwhelming evidence, they'll give the manager a warning and you keep your job, maybe they settle. for anything less then obviously being verbally or physically abused, you just cut your pip from 3 months to 2 weeks lol.

Pfffh.

You are such an amateur. This is my whole domain. First things first you fucked up. Always get things in writing.

>wahh wahh she didnt email me

"Dear manager, following our conversation earlier today regarding XYZ..."

Escalate. Every manager has a manager. Go abover her head. Make it look innocent. "Just to let you know Mr/Mrs Manager, I've identified this issue on this date and have communicated it to Miss Manager at this date"

Then you speak to your union. If no union, let legal advice. Tell HR, not because you expect them to resolve it, but to cover yourself should you get to an employment tribunal.

Ofcourse you did none of this so you are up the creek, but to the other anons, learn. In my whole time during my current enployment I've completed 6 SIX full months of employment, the rest were time off for various reasons. They cannot fire me, i will lash a discrimination case so hard they will get whiplash.

Too late, but if it's something can fuck you, get a notebook, write what was said, the instructions from your manager, and when it was said. Immediately present it to their boss if you're being penalized for it.

I'm a manager and I always side with the person with more thorough documentation.
