It's not just the price level but buying more (x10 or more) while at that level compared with when he buys lower.

A good exercise would be to take the capital he invested so far, split it out for 18 months or so, with monthly buys of the same amount on the same date each month. That's also the kind of thing that let's you just get back to running your company as well.
