We live in a riba based world and our taxes are used for unislamic purposes, so earning any kind of money is technically haram in todays world. Even countries like Saudi Arabia are governed in an unIslamic way and is run by a monarchy vs a caliphate system. I'm not a scholar or anything and you can ignore whatever I say and take it with a grain of salt but here's my 2 cents: Living in a unislamic country and paying taxes in it is infinitely worse than living in a corrupt monarchy(Nothing haram with monarchy, but I agree Caliphate would be better), because of what taxes are being spend at is also infinitely worse than Nicki Minaj's twerking(i.e. blood of Muslims is on your hands).
