this. literally just keep buying it? will it go a little lower during the bear market? ehh, maybe. if it does, great. buy more. 60m users with a search engine exploding in popularity thats about to get BAT ads on it, along with a ton of other BAT utility from the wallet side being added. oh and they actually started their marketing campaign.

remind me what the market cap of this is again, $500m? its literally fucking nothing lol. even the most die hard of batties will look back on this as a huge missed opportunity because they didnt buy more.

It can't be that Jimmy, or any of the individual employees are apathetic. I think he's passionate about his work, he's taking all this extra time in community calls to tell people about his work.
I think the problem is he legitimately has no idea. Brave is such a massively burecratic company that no one has any idea. Take their marketing ability, the store being offline for a year, their lukewarm response to thotposter, the constant delays. The most likely answer is they are so mismanaged, so burecratic, that no one has any idea. Eich himself isn't a CEO-type, he's not a manager, he's a programmer at heart, and programmers are shit at managing hundreds of people, they're not domineering enough, they suck at delegating.

>> No.50035468

Can you think of another explanation? It makes perfect sense, especially to the schizos who believe Brave has been infiltrated by google trannies. The company is being railroaded, maybe it's unintentional, maybe it's someone who is actively trying to make things difficult. But Eich managed to write JavaScript in 10 days, but has taken years and years to do anything brave related.

>> No.50035572

>>50035408
>The most likely answer is they are so mismanaged
Not trying to FUD, but Brave is easily one of the most stagnant companies I've ever dealt with. Its like they're allergic to money. There's no structure or initiative at all when it comes to marketing. Was told by Annie and a few others that they wanted to roll out a few of my ideas only to get nothing but radio silence and more boomer mailer flyers. I really don't know, but its sad.

50035668

>>50035408
I don't think Jimmy or any of them are apathetic per se. Just that their (Brave as company)'s execution is so tiresome. For example, BAT could have done a huge pump as the "Twitter tipping coin" back when Twitter announced that they intended to integrate crypto tipping about six months ago. But Brave fumbled that. Their haphazard tipping mechanism was never publicized, never marketed - whether when it was new, or when it was "improved," etc. And they thus lost an opportunity to be part of a major crypto news cycle that could have inured to their benefit and pumped our bags. The fact that Decntr is still hovering above us is sad, and is a situation that Brave could have avoided.

Granted, hindsight is always 20/20, but before the DDG debacle, they were repeatedly caught with their pants down and shoes untied. And in this industry, that's a competitive disadvantage they can't afford to perpetuate. It's ironic because, despite it all, Brave and BAT are one of the few crypto projects with a clear use case that is already gaining adoption. Which is a good thing. But yet they're good at missing marketing opportunities. Or at least they have been.

Hopefully that continues to change.

not to mention it doesn't matter if they have a high user base if only 1-5% OF them actually fucking use BAT?
they are literally using their search engine user base to pad up their BAT numbers and its not working.
it'd be like if google made a crypto and had it hidden inside of their chroma browser and did nothing with it.
knowing googles brand value it'd actually be worth a shit ton.

BAT is the biggest cope crypto there is

literally never moons, has been outperformed by almost any crypto you can possibly think of during the last bull run or the bullrun before that

meanwhile BAT bagholders CONTINUE to post the saddest cope shit you will ever see, just absolute fucking atomic cope from holding the heaviest bags ever. Extremely pathetic. Noobs beware. Avoid this crypto AT ALL COSTS!

Break up the company in small decentralized agile teams:

and let these teams move forward fast

The search team is doing pretty well, these guys are doing something right obviously

Also, products like Brave News and Brave Talk are nice too have, but they are not where the focus should be on right now imo

They have like 6+ VPs. I think they are small teams. Bondy I believe is almost exclusively focusing on the wallet.
I think thr "grand plan" is user first, privacy/security focused, best experience possible philosophy and then they just do their own shit in their own niches while focusing on the core principles.

For example they have talked about text to speech a few times but it all would have to go through a centralized authority like Kikerosoft, so they've typically shied away from it... but then recently I've seen Brendan recently saying they should look into maybe doing it with a privacy waiver or something before the user opts into it.
