I was hiring for two positions on my team years ago. After a week I hadn't heard anything. By the 2nd week I asked and HR said no one was making it through the online filter ATS. Also in my country HR is incredibly universally racist and will happily choose a white/Chinese guy over anyone even slightly brown. I work in a large American MNC. the latest trend in HR roastie interviewing™ science is pre-recorded video interviews where an AI may or may not analyze your facial expressions, eye contact, voice inflections, etc. i did several of these when i was desperate for a new job. johnson & johnson, for instance, uses them. they're administered by a company called hirevue. apparently they dropped the AI component from hirevue, but you still respond to pre-recorded questions and send your responses off into some HR roastie black hole to be "analyzed" by a living, breathing low IQ woman in her mid to late 20s.
