Yeah. I delivered pizza for almost 2 years. Whether it's a $100 or $1000 order, a $20 tip is solid no matter what. I was averaging about $20/hr between my hourly pay and tips. And we got mileage pay to cover gas and car maintenance. Anyone who complains about getting $20/hr to drive around listening to music and unpacking some bags is a faggot.

I go to the same place for lunch once a week and tip close to 50%. ($10 meal and I usually leave $15 or a $20 if I dont have change). The service I get is incredible. I order the same thing every time and its practically at the table by the time I sit down.

I used to do corporate deliveries, and it wasn't uncommon to get 10%-20% on huge orders like that. the place I worked at actually implemented a mandatory minimum tip for corporate orders because Amazon employees stiffed so frequently and the drivers didn't want to work corporate shifts anymore. finding (legal, safe) parking in the city and carrying 20-40+ pizzas up to a bunch of idiots is harder than it sounds. people should tip low paid workers based on how much work had to be done, rather than the cost of items purchased.. if anything to slow the crumbling of American society to any extent
