However i have wondered about Eric. Its been well over half a year and we’ve heard nothing.
Chainlink is effectively the Web3 version of Google. Perhaps Eric recognises this.

So he could be new CEO? He’d want to avoid the hype. Its no good having buzz around his new baby if it cant stand on its own merit yet.

However i also feel like there would have been insider pumps if he was CEO. Unless its not finalised yet.

we have no idea what this guy has contributed to chainlink if anything or how much he is involved

It’s common knowledge that 90% of LINK OG’s came from /pol/, and are thus unironic Nazis and extremely racist. This is evident when you look at the chats whenever Chainlink presents at conferences such as consensus or smartcon. It’s always N word this, N word that.

I personally don’t want to put my money into a project like that and keep that sort of company. Moreover, I question the intelligence of people who shill LINK given their backwards and racist political views.

Schmidt is here because of the Truth Machine, how don't you get it yet. All this token stuff is close to irrelevant what he wants to achieve.
Google was supposed to be his truth machine but the technology wasn't there, Schmidt himself said that the fact that you get millions of results when you search something on Google is a bug not a feature, saying that you should get the singular answer you were looking for instantly in your own language. Now with Chainlink he can get his truth machine once and for all.

Read his recent book on AI and future of humanity he wrote with Kissinger.

If this is indeed the intention i would assume nothing has happened yet otherwise insiders would have pumped it. Can you even act as CEO without meeting people and dealing with employees? Unlikely. A more active roll would have been seen already even if he was doing CEO duties under the name of advisor so far.
