Should I get a job? I'm graduating college in a few days with ~20k in the bank and ~20k in student debt. A company wants to hire me for 60k annually as a software developer. I really don't want to have to get a 9 to 5; would probably rather kill myself. 60k after taxes and expenses and stuff is like ~40k, which is really not a lot of money. I can live at my dad's place for a while but I want to support myself. Been making some money off of cryptocurrencies lately.

so you want to be a NEET? Depending where you live, $40k after taxes is pretty good for a first job.

Pay off your debt immediately get a job

Kill yourself and let someone with actual drive take your cushy ass job.

Assuming your loan is low interest, put your 20k into crypto and just work in the meantime. Put all your spare income into crypto if you hate your job. That's what I did a few months ago and have $200k in crypto now. I'd have killed myself by now if crypto wasn't the light at the end of the tunnel, work is indeed shit.

Work and invest your profit dude, this cyrpto boom won't be around forever

>> No.4998311

Work for at least 2 years for both experience and to pay off your debts while investing any other cash into crypto. Live in your dads for at least one year. Then cash out with no debt and comfy stacks and you can become a comfy NEET who can easily become employable again due to already having 2 years experience as a software developer.

Having 2 years experience is great, but large breaks in experience will make him unemployable

Not necessarily, he could bullshit about having travelled and how it shaped his character, blah blah blah.

Dude, you're like me except 2 years ago.
Take the software dev job, keep your frugal lifestyle and put all your income into crypto. You can retire in your late twenties and never have to work again.

The fact is to truly be lazy you must work hard.

I am also in retarded situation, I live on $400 a month, make about $1000 a month (passive income from stocks). All I had to do was inherit around $400,000 and house from my parents. I don't have to work anymore now. I recommend you to do the same.
