redpill me on why i would buy an overpriced, back doored flash drive

>> No.49974883

>>49974792
Yep, it did email addresses leaked. The hacker sent an unsolicited email to me even telling me to buy hex which I should have at the time

>> No.49974891

>>49974883
I should clarify that the hack was only the contact info of ledger customers, not any hacking of funds in ledger accounts

>> No.49974892

>>49974792
they got breached and had emails sent to ledger users talking about a new version of ledger live but had malware installed instead.

it's ok goy, just give into your fear. I mean you don't want to loose all your potential millions over a measly 100-200 bucks, right?

After all these companies are widely recognized and used by thousands of users. Nothing could potentially ever happen to them.

trezor for btc/eth, ledger if you are a degen and use shitcoins

>> No.49975085

>>49975029
It looks like shit. Also the fact that it stands out is a bad thing. Ledger looking like a regular flashdrive is better.

>> No.49975104

trezor never had its mailing list get hacked and leaked (yet)

You're doing all that with an airgapped PC, right? Yes, an airgapped PC is as good as a ledger, but probably more expensive.

>> No.49976649

ledger is most convenient, can trade a gorillion shitcoins, never been hacked in the sense of peoples' funds stolen.
whereas trezor has only blue chips, more difficult process to transfer funds, and if you get wrench attacked gg no re

I have a ledger and it's nice but limited on memory so you can store much on it. Mine is old and I think they have newer versions that don'e have this problem but that nano in the picture can probably only store 4 diffrent cryptos on it.

>> No.49978923

>>49974792
Their store website got hacked because of the dumb pajeet who coded the shopify integration. The actual hardware and accompanied software is secure, but it is closed source.

>> No.49978953

>>49978887
yeah the new ledger nano plus or whatever it's called stores like 100+ cryptocurrencies on it from memory, but desu I think I'd buy a trezor if I was new to the scene, especially considering ledger's retarded database fuck up.

>> No.49978980

I stored my seed phrase in an AI chat app on my cell phone, the ai bot is able to remember stuff for you,

Just store your shitcoins on Coinbase. I trust them more then myself since I’m a retard with a history of bad decisions.
