pretty much all of the land is unbuildable on because it's historically crown, baron, lord, farmer property. there are national parks, areas of outstanding natural building, sites of significant scientific interest, the greenbelts and around a hundred additional restriction 'zonings' (google "defra magic maps" and try for yourself). if that doesn't cover it, lots of the land is listed as farming: pasture which renders it unbuildablen on.

we have 13x more migrants obtaining visas per year per acre here than the US. it's an absolute fucking joke at this point. they may as well just be honest and flat out tell a couple of tens of millions of people they're going to perpetually rent.
