Crypto has no intrinsic value because it's backed by nothing. The "normal" is zero. Give a single reason to buy crypto other than "to sell it for more". There isn't. It's a ponzi scheme and ponzis have no value.

All of this is currently going on. The "crypto is a scam" sentiment has settled in, interest everywhere is decreasing, and biz is full of off-topic posts and barely any real discussions. I think it's a good time to start accumulating some well funded altcoins who can last a couple years until the next bullrun comes.

It will still be a decently long enough bullrun to make money off of if you're not hesitant to both buy and sell. I'd say if you bought the right things this week, selling by Thursday would be safe and comfy modest gains before the real correction begins.
However, the correction we honestly need may not go down the way it naturally should. If history can repeat itself in this instance I think you're absolutely right. I just think that unfortunately, too many variables have been manipulating the market either directly or indirectly, which might make it inaccurate to compare with historical data:
- Russia conflict-related shortages and dedollarization
- Massive additional risk added into the global financial system by FinTech
- Fed damage control karma & resulting additional damage control, & resulting karma from the karma's damage control.
- Remember when the Fed unplugged the stock market from reality in 2019? lmao sucks to suck if you fell for them saying they eventually got it under control

>inb4 "Well I invest in crypto so it's different"
No it fucking is not. You can tell it's not because the majority of people talking about crypto talk about gains, investing - not sending, receiving...actually using it. The last time we saw the true value of major coins was ca 13-15k BTC and that is being generous. The rest is speculation, and that volatility's main influence is the general economy.
That same concept of observing the practical/physical reality of the market vs. charts and numbers is also applicable if you want a good idea of how big of a correction we're due for. Most people MADE money during COVID lockdowns despite the supply chain almost grinding to a halt. 2021-now, millions of people never returned to work thereafter yet the stock market boomed. That boom wasn't from production, we already know it was from the Fed printing money and no real value was created. Either they admit failure and let things burn, or we're in for a long slow death.

This is true for most coins unfortunately, but there are a few that provide something valuable. LINK for example, except the token is not needed, so it's essentially just like buying stock in a company. Blockchain technology in itself is valuable, but people can fuck off with this BTC is digital gold store of value because it obviously isn't.
