We all have that know it all friend..... fucking pain in the arse...

I have said BTC will still be the number one crypto for years to come (based on segwit and store of value) and he has said it will eventually die - here's his points... Someone help me with some good arguments to fire back..

1) energy costs for mining vs low price
2) China crack down
3) pending regulation in Korea after terra debacle
4) limited supply of btc for mining at low prices
5) pow model just doesn’t make sense

If you don't know the answer to these then why do you have Bitcoin kid. You're a retard. Fuck off

What the fuck kind of baby's first crypto argument shit is this? All of those have obvious answers.

And as for your friend, he's right, BTC will eventually die - it's just that nothing exists currently that is fundamentally strong enough to take it's place.

1) The network doesn't need miners. If they are not paid enough, they can leave.
2) nobody cares
3) nobody cares
4) what do you mean? See #1
5) what do you mean?

PoW model breaks down when all the crypto is done being mined
There isn't even an attempt to fix this problem aside from retards saying "lol we'll pay them in a new coin currency"

In case of Bitcoin they will be paid in fees. In case of Monero, there is unlimited amount to be mined and small fees.
If that is not enough, miners can always leave, which means their rewards will be split among those who remain. This can happen until mining is profitable again.

>What are tail emissions
Granted, BTC doesn't have them but that hardly matters in the long run as BTC is an asset and not a currency.

>BTC is an asset and not a currency.
That's fair, and in the endgame you'd be absolutely retarded to buy/sell anything other than a cold wallet
