No, why don't renlets get this? The system is massively rigged for owners. Even if rates gets hiked and prices goes down, mortgage payments don't go down, rent actually goes up as the cost is passed on the rentlets.

You can borrow the real asset (renting), or borrow the money (mortgage), and one is obviously better over the long run.

they pay rent in the first place so they can pay taxes without having to see themselves paying taxes

do banks take average lifespan into account when giving out mortgages? so they can discriminate based on age?

It means housing prices only go up and you'll own nothing.
>>49910897
Quite the opposite. Klaus Schawb said "it vill be a young world"
They will own everything and be medically immortal, you'll live much shorter.

No they want the homeowner to die easier to steal their equity

>> No.49911004

>>49910485
They can't, they're in too deep. They imported too many third worlders that are supposed to prop up their system and be their slaves. You think they're going to let those people become fucking homeowners? Kek

>> No.49911034

>>49910980
Actually the homeowner still keeps the appreciation so that's not true. If people didn't get emotionally attached to their homes it would work out. Mortgage on the big family home then downsize to a smaller home when the kids grow up and leave.

>> No.49911095

>>49910980
They won't be able to horde life extension tech that actually works. They will have to share it with their peons. Though I don't doubt the 3rd world masses will be denied it.

>> No.49911935

>>49911034
Except that every house will eventually cost so much that nobody will ever be able to own one based on any salary. All you'll be able to do is "build equity," which will in the end mean pretty much nothing.

40 years is nothing
banks should come up with an inheritable 400 year loan
think of the interest payments

>> No.49912509

There are already interest only mortgages, which are essentially infinite year.

If you build equity and then downsize, the house you downsize to you own outright.

So you're still depending on a lifetime of more or less constant economic growth and price appreciation. Problem is, there are multiple reasons to think that this won't happen. And even if it does, you'll never have any real security.

I'm starting to think this was all a part of their plan to get people in debt for longer

They have 100+ year mortgages in Sweden.

Yes, they need to show a reasonable exit strategy prior to retirement to meet responsible lending requirements.

This could include sale and down sizing, sale of other assets etc.

Only really for owner occupied, as investment properties will continue to generate income
