4988211 No.4988211 [Reply] [Original]

Today, I’m bringing you an early Christmas present.

Our long-standing readers will recall our last short-term trade in Stellar (XLM). On October 5, we alerted you to a pending news and got you in at $0.0132.

Just 11 days later, IBM announced a major partnership with Stellar. We sent you an alert the same day, locking in a 207% profit (6,875% annualized).

We’re going back to the well and recommending XLM again. And I expect we can profit in a similar way.

For those unfamiliar with Stellar, it’s a platform that connects banks, payment systems, and people. With Stellar, you can move money anywhere in the world quickly and at very little cost.

It’s similar to another one of our holdings, Ripple, with some key differences:

It uses a different consensus mechanism, which allows for secure and scalable transactions.

It’s set up as a non-profit. Stellar considers its network a public infrastructure.

And it has a more diversified ecosystem of partners.

Stellar is solving the problem of cross-border payments. On average, cross-border transactions can cost as much as 8–9% of the transaction amount. And they can be slow.

Stellar is building a global network of partners to facilitate cross-border payments at a fraction of the cost and in a fraction of the time. And it continues to add new partners all the time.

We expect Stellar to have new major announcements before the year is out. The time to get in is now.

As always, place no more than $200–400 for smaller accounts and $500–1,000 for larger accounts into this trade.
Action to Take: Buy Stellar Lumens (XLM)
Buy-up-to Price: $0.10
Stop Loss: None
Buy It On: Poloniex, Bittrex, Kraken
Store It On: There are multiple wallets available for Stellar. You can find the list here. We’ve used the Stargazer wallet with no problems

Not great in the super long term. 100bil coins when network was launched in 2014, 1% inflation per year or 1bil new coins each year. Model is that each transaction will cost 0.00001 XLM per transaction. If my math isnt all retarded thats 100trillion transactions per year to balance inflation (not even accounting for compound of that 1% p/y). They will be worth nothing in the end

Ethereum is my other bet right now, but it's still a fraction of what I've put in XLM. Also XRB and REQ pennies for meme gains (before they mooned). That's about all the things I'm confident enough to invest in this current market. Oh, and also I was considering starting mining FoldingCoin. I've been waiting for folding@home coin since crypto became a thing.

Do you have anything in XRP? It's in my opinion even less reliable of an investment than XLM because it's high market cap and being played by Ripple, but I can't help but feel a bit anxious about not diversifying at least a bit.

Oh, I meant the Ripple partnerships. Well, I'm pretty sure a big part of it is priced in considering how XRP is up a shocking 13% currently.

I have no doubt that the Stellar partnerships wouldn't be big. It's a very attractive crypto for businesses, and Teeka was indeed spot-on the last time. All Stellar needs is the right bump of publicity, they have everything else set perfectly.

As for XRP, I guess I'll skip on it for now then. No point investing pennies in speculation, the upside isn't that big.

Yeah ok I see now, my bad. skimmed too fast. Yeah I'm in no rush for XRP right now but it will probably have its day soon once the normie invasion spills over into big alts.

Though by then, XLM may have captured its market share and get the boost instead!

>Reassure your boy this is better than holding ltc

No one can say that, normies are pumping LTC and ETH hard, either of them could hit $1000 within the next week.

I'm holding XLM so obviously I think it's a good pick, but never underestimate the power of normies.

>> No.4994550

Same. I have a shitload of XLM but going against LTC is hard.

When XLM hits its catalysts, it will spike harder than LTC. But I have definitely missed easy money on the LTC train while holding XLM before that happens.

>> No.4994579

>>4994441
LTC is basically a shitcoin. It's BTC with a smaller market cap. It's rising because some people have issues to withdraw BTC and ETH from Bitfinex. So they convert to LTC. This shitcoin will tank like there's no tomorrow when the issues are fixed.

>>4994441
Could break $15 or $25, assuming widespread adoption (Financial remittance/Cross Border payments/Ecommence), XLM becoming a strong competing force to ETH/BTC (Due to its high liquidity and insane processing speed) and the level of the ICOs released on the network.

In fact, if Stellar/XLM was ever released on Coinbase, you could even see a probable spike to a dollar a pop.

I don't really care about missing LTC gains, my only concern is that the buying frenzy around LTC and ETH might be the harbinger of a major BTC crash, which could take the market down with it for a while.

>> No.4994827

>>4994724
We entered the "mania" phase. Normies are the ones who will bring everything down with their stupidity. As usual.

>> No.4994846

BTW, hope Coinbase doesn't introduce Ripple first. That would be a major blow. I'm pretty sure they aren't doing that for now though, bcash is the next candidate.

>>4994724
That's a good point. Keeping the possible crash in mind, I think XLM might be one of the safe bets, so at least we're on solid ground. But it could go down like it did when BTC last dipped. XLM needs recognition before the crash happens, otherwise it might dip like the rest.

The only way Ripple would ever gain an edge over Stellar is if Banks allow Ripple users to cash out to fiat, USING XRP Tokens.

And we are still a looooong way from that

Use Bitstamp then transfer whatever you buy onto Qryptos/Bitrex etc..

From there exchange into XLM and then send the what you get to a desktop/hardware wallet

The "conference" today is the launch of SatoshiPay, which will feature Stellar (they'll be giving out free Lumens to attendees).

Don't get your hopes up about it. The next pump will likely come out of the blue when Stellar announces new partnerships/delivers clarification on existing ones. Just hold throughout December and you should be fine.
