>>49877490>>49877534Hello fellow retarded NPCs I too have strong opinions about things I know nothing about
>>49877490>>49877534For posting on /biz/ you sure don't know shit about GPU mining. It's in the miner's best interest to undervolt and not destroy the card, as it will lower the lifespan and effectively lower their profits. Most people aren't idiots when it comes to mining (especially people with that many GPUs to mine off of), so nearly all mining cards are safe to buy and use
>>49877397>Get cards that chinks ran the fuck out of and literally put on the ground like whatever pangolin guts they get at the market

Pc components arent that fragile, theres still circuit boards from the early 2000s working. Shit there's radios from the 1960s which are still working. + the nature of this tech makes it extemely easy to repair and keep running for a person who is knowledgable about it. A normie retard like you will throw away your 300$ gpu, when a competent person can just check the schematic and either reflow the solder or replace a .50 cent component.
Another thing is you can buy an RX 6600 or 6600XT that were made in January or something. So even if they mined its only for 5 months.

>>49892190its like the newest iphone, do you really need 3 cameras, 1TB and 8gb ram on a phone? no but normies gotta spend their paychecks on something, what will their friends say otherwise? theyre just gonna laugh
Don't know about other GPU but DON'T BUY GPUs which have DDR6X.It runs really hot, they are running it at 95-104°C unless they changed thermal pads or strapped more fans towards it. Even then it runs hot because they overclock it.They undervolt GPU core clocks so GPU runs at lower temperature but everyone of them overclock that VRAM clock speed to maximize profitability.DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING RTX 3080 OR HIGHER OR YOU'LL BE GETTING A GPU WHOSE VRAM WILL DIE ANYTIME.
>>49892523>It runs really hot, they are running it at 95-104°CWithin spec according to Nvidia/Micron. Go home.
>>49877490Every story I’ve ever heard about buying cards that were mined has been the same: >they buy the card expecting it to run terribly >they replace the thermal paste and pads >it works flawlessly
>>49877517I guess you bought Luna. Not every project looks like Luna so stop being a fag. I'm buying some better crypto like SCRT as I see the better utility in them.
>>49892190Modern "gaming" is all about gacha and microtransactions, only subhuman zoomer paypigs play that, the same people that donate to onlyfans whores
>>49892795is 104 really within spec? >>49892523only time I’ve seen this is with pre builts that have default fan curves that are basically designed to keep temps just at the level where they are damaged very slightly over time the asus ROG prebuilts are notorious for this and it’s why they use blower style cards
>>49892963>is 104 really within spec? Up to 110, that's when throttling occurs. Throttling only happens to prevent it *reaching* a stage of physical damage. Again, this is on the memory side. GDDR5/6 has different temp tolerances. As long as you also keep your core die temp under control mining really isn't that much more damaging to the card than playing AAA shit maxed out at 4k. Which, by the way, these cards pull so much fucking wattage out of the factory with all kinds of retarded, wasteful "boosting" mechanisms that fuck with voltage that makes simple gaming even more of a liability for the card than responsible mining.
>>49891579>>49891655>>49893050>>49891772>Same guyI'm guessing you're a miner selling your cards? Lmao
>>49893188I ain't selling any cards my man. Hobby mined with two 3080's that I paid MSRP for back in 2020 and made out with a shitton of ETH. I still have the cards in my rigs and they still work well because I actually maintain my fucking shit. Games are a waste of time anyway. Like other Anons have said, had you actually played your fucking cards right years ago maybe you wouldn't be so butthurt and resentful about people using graphics cards for legitimate uses instead of wasting time playing the latest AAA shit and getting nowhere in life.
>>49891894That’s what your mum said last night when I was doing sex on her you FAGGOT
>>49877793What a fag! Bet you let another man do repairs around the house too.
>>49893244cope, not buying your card faggot
>>49893050interdasting thank you, I’ve always tried to keep everything below 80 but maybe I’ll turn down my fans now
Its unironically over
You know what millennial-zers deserve their fate. I cannot fucking understand how we can share the same birth year and yet I am infinitely smarter and more tasteful than any of you millenial-zers. I constantly yelled at those dumb fucking kids for listening to dubstep and playing Minecraft, but I completely forgot that zoomers are born in 2005+ and these idiots these fucking SJW idiots and woke idiots are born as early as 1985 , you make me sick. You deserve your fate. There is absolutely absolutely no excuse for someone who lived through the 2000s to think like this and to consume 2010s mentality.>UGH UGH 2k dollars for a 3090 TI is perfectly acceptable when back in 97-2003 the equivalent was 400$ and the 1080 TI equivalent was 250$ You make me sick. Stuff like Minecraft could have never taken off in the 90-2005 because people weren't such retards back then suffering from autism and playing with legos at the age of 20.
>>49877397test
Yeah, good job investing in proof of work in the current year. Does this surprise anyone who is not retarded?
>>49894131Save some chromosomes for the rest of us bro
>>49894086>>>/pol/>>49894131Everybody knows that the good times are over and that nothing will replace the hashrate that was in ETH. Much like BTC, there was an obvious period of opportunity that most people missed and that makes them resentful. I didn't even make that much money in the grand scheme of things. Few thousand USD. But it allowed me to go out and earn more money in RL while I had a passive thing running and that was beautiful. You can see why those guys with remote properties innawoods with insane solar setups get hooked on this shit.
>>498940801080Ti is 6 years old and not at all impressive.Loses against 3060
>>49881309I daily drive a mined on 1080ti. JUST AS GOOD as a 3080
I put all the components for a new computer in my amazon cart, and every hour or so the total price drops about $10. It’s only just starting
>>49893244>ETHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>49892523Hive can set cooling fan speed to GPU OR ram temp, this is a non issue
>>49894381>crypto morons coping that everyone else "missed out" on their coins under highs from FIVE fucking years ago

>>49877397Proof of stake replacing proof of work. It was inevitable.
>>49877656Good thing nobody plays on high. We set them to ultra. But your dumb gook brain wouldn't be able to grasp that because you spent your life mining bitcoin at a loss.
>>49898865ETH mining is only like 3% of all PoW mining currently.
>>49879869I gave an air conditioning quote to a guy mining ETH in an old concrete industrial building. The guy had 500ish cards running, racks all over the little 10k sqft building. It was 85 degrees F outside and 115 inside kek.If someone can spoonfeed me a link on how to make webms, I'll post a video of his setup.
>>49899409figured out how to make a webm.I forgot what the cards were, but there were like 487 or something in the whole building.anyone got an eye for GPUs and can figure out how much ETH this dude was mining a day?
>>49891119I have principles too but lets not let njudea off the hook. I'll buy a mined $150 3060 ti over new $300 4050 any day of the week.
>Source: Fake twatter accountFud violently rejected, still slurping sub 2$ api3
>>498773973060 Ti's are still around £400 here, although i just spotted this.
