Don't know about other GPU but DON'T BUY GPUs which have DDR6X.
It runs really hot, they are running it at 95-104°C unless they changed thermal pads or strapped more fans towards it. Even then it runs hot because they overclock it.
They undervolt GPU core clocks so GPU runs at lower temperature but everyone of them overclock that VRAM clock speed to maximize profitability.
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING RTX 3080 OR HIGHER OR YOU'LL BE GETTING A GPU WHOSE VRAM WILL DIE ANYTIME.

Up to 110, that's when throttling occurs. Throttling only happens to prevent it *reaching* a stage of physical damage. Again, this is on the memory side. GDDR5/6 has different temp tolerances. As long as you also keep your core die temp under control mining really isn't that much more damaging to the card than playing AAA shit maxed out at 4k. Which, by the way, these cards pull so much fucking wattage out of the factory with all kinds of retarded, wasteful "boosting" mechanisms that fuck with voltage that makes simple gaming even more of a liability for the card than responsible mining.
