go figure. non-chinese can't enter and expats living there only get limited visa time. lockdowns etc. do you think anyone want's to invest in property NOW?

>> No.49866753

Real estate is their biggest domestic market. They gonna have to devalue their currency even more so westerners keep buying shot from them...good times for dropshippers and Chinese factory owners

>> No.49866776

Maybe because the property market in China is mostly ghost cities. China actually has an oversupply of housing for price to actually fall, unlike every other country where housing supply is an ever-present problem.

What to short for us to profit?
Short their currency?

>> No.49866789

>>49866752
The only thing they can invest in is property. All other stuff is banned or government owned so their stock market is trash. They have ghost towns which only exist so people can buy properties...talkin about herd mentality

>China finna be building entire ghost towns despite China being the most rapidly aging population on the globe.

>Short their currency?
unlike the US they have full control over their currency. I'd not short it.

I was there in 2011 und 2013. beautiful cities, shanghai was the best. would've moved there if covid didn't happen. almost every expat was buying flats there. I guess with a 6 month visa renewal despite living there for many years people will think twice when it comes to buying property there.
