Okay, let's examine that scenario. If you take every Dollar in existence and divide it by all the above ground gold, you get a Dollar To Gold Ratio of $14,070 per ounce of gold. If the gold to silver ratio then corrects to its historical value of 1:16, which is what has happened every time in history there's been a monetary crisis, then the projected price of silver would be $879.
If you take these projected values and divide them by gold and silver's current prices of $1849.90 and $21.93, then gold's price will have risen by 760% and silver's price will have risen by 4,002%.
In short, silver has over five times more upside than gold in this scenario.

Have a good weekend/Father's day/Meme holiday guys? I went to a local gun show today, one guy had pretty decent prices on US coinage. I didn't have a lot of money but I at least bought the dimes and the walking liberty for 21x fv, which is the cheapest I've found 90% in non-bulk amount so far. The brown Ike was $12 which I'm fairly sure is 40% silver. Even if it's not silver I'm still happy because the presentation is really great, the box looks and feels like wood grain even though it's cardboard. I've had a shadowbox frame sitting around, thinking about putting it in the frame to display. It has a very classy feel to it.

I like goldbacks. I think they're pretty. I would like a few of the better looking ones in my money collection.
That said they exist to solve a problem already solved by silver; have a metallic money available in a practical form for small transactions. You've not quite got the numbers right there, anon. A 5x would have been a pretty poor show; my overall results are several hundred x since late 2018. There are countless examples of coins that pulled those numbers themselves in the last few years; anyone into crypto would find it quite plausible. PMG is somewhat unused to large (or any) profits so it seems unbelievably impressive, but it's not entirely unusual in the crypto world. Numis coins that aren't being currently minted have to carry a real interest for me to buy them. While they're still being minted is when they cost the least. When they stop and dealers run out of stock, the prices jump, and continue to rise at a rate faster than the metal alone.
