Should I learn python applied to finance? I have no CS background and have never learned a programming language.
I graduated from college 2 years ago and have been doing bitch legal compliance work, which does involve analysis of financial statements. So I understand EBIT/Cash Flows/Debt Ratios/Revolving Credit Facility Agreements. I have a background in some elements of finance.

But I'm fucking stuck at this mediocre pay-range without any programming skills. I'm noticing a ton of financial analyst positions require you know Python. So should I learn Python applied to finance? Should I pay for one of those bootcamp courses (Have 80k saved up from shorting) in python?
I will also try to develop a shitload of stock-related projects on my portfolio, either web scraping for shady compliance phrasing in SEC filings, or something to do with red flags in balance sheet statements.

Is it worth learning python to be able to pivot to a nice paying finance job? I have a shitty bachelors in an unrelated field so I definitely don't have ANY coding/programing experience.

The timing you're looking for is ~30m to do a medium and ~1h to do a hard, systematically.
