Why do we need crypto?

>no fancy algorithm, backed by real cash
>stable, basically just a digit representation of the dollar, if the dollar is unstable then usdc is unstable
>dollar backed by real work
>tech can be used for other currency (see eurocoin)
>no mining
>circle can claw back transactions from scammers
>instant settlements
>can still be used with other crypto

You fell for shitcoin propaganda. Those features aren’t important. The main point of BTC is that it’s unconfiscatable.

Dollars is not backed by real work lmao. It's backed by the faith that it will not be printed to infinity, and whatever gold the US government has in reserve.

because it's hard to get in the bottom of a bubble when it's pegged to $1.

BTC also has no use or intrinsic value.. it's 100% a speculative thing..a pure gamble. Eventually it will either be regulated to death or everyone will just see it as having no true value, and it will go to zero.

>> No.49794073

>>49793976
Please stop. It has intrinsic value because there’s demand to own it, (this is called a market) because it can’t get taken away or inflated.

>>49793842
and? crypto shouldn't be a speculative tool. btw you can just invest in usdc whenever it ipos (if it does)

the whole point of crypto is p2p cash transfer and smart contracts (which can be implemented eventually on usdc)

USDC did “IPO” — ticker CND
And you’re also wrong about the point of crypto

if you want to beat inflation, you're better to own stocks or land. Don't fuck with silver and gold.. own real assets or stocks with a legitimate business model and proven profits (ie..not Uber or doordash or all the other profitless joke companies that are out there). BTC will always be hyper risky and could also be banned by all countries.

The combined market cap of US dollar stablecoins is now over 50% of Bitcoin's. Let's face it, Bitcoin blew a massive headstart to become a widely adopted form of currency and now it's only a matter of time before USDC takes the top spot on Coingecko.

Do new fags retards not understand the entire point of crypto was to escape the fed cucked system and escape debt slavery and inflation??

>why not just hold the dollar HURRRR

Satoshi didn't anticipate centralized exchanges creating artifical inflation for Bitcoin and every other crypto through fractional reserve.

>> No.49794803

>>49794540
ok you can transfer usdc to eurocoin
soon there will be more
you can transfer usdc for real estate, gold, w/e
tangible things not muh kill the earth slow ass transaction with a bloated ledger

lmao you guys want crypto to survive maybe we should get rid of the dinosaur coin? why do we want to prop up the worst protocol. it was the first and serves as a good foundation into crypto, teach kids in uni/hs about bitcoin, but it's time to move a way. let btc die and something else rise
