Take the DIY pill and youll realize how much money ypu can save on everything. Its a hobby that saves you money, gives you skills and youre ready for the grand collapse. I saved more than 10k for my mum last year doing renovations. It did most of things except big masonry (i did small one), and plaster on walls as it requires a trained hand to do big surfaces well

I worked a trade and nothing I ever did came remotely close to the complexity of shit I made in Minecraft when I was 13 or Factorio. I'm an engineer now and still nothing is as complicated and I have software that tells me all the answers anyway.
