Yeah the only reason I haven't capitulated yet is because I was doing fine and it's nice to hold diverse assets, especially during these uncertain times. I was expecting silver to keep up with inflation though and it's hugely underperforming. I know crypto is risky but there are one or two (mostly Chainlink) that I really can't ignore at these prices, and I find myself with simply not enough fiat to take the opportunity. I'm no longer doing well enough to just have a load of silver lying around.

Yeah, PMs will bottom later this Summer or early Fall then begin their moon mission as a multi-decade cycle of inflation, high interest rates and resource scarcity dominates. If you really want some shitcoins and to reduce your PM holdings before they bottom then skyrocket wait with cash for crypto to bottom too

Can someone confirm my thoughts on taxes and PMs
As I understand it, when buying pms, the IRS will not be notified if your purchase is under $10,000 in a 24-hour period.
When it comes to selling, if you are selling American Gold eagles, again there will be no automatic referral to the IRS from a reputable dealer. If you sell other types of gold coins like the Canadian or German ones, then there will be reporting done. If you were selling something like a gold eagle the IRS kindly asks you to submit your own capital gains taxes.
But if we're speaking honestly, what's stopping anybody from not reporting?
What's stopping anybody from buying and selling go eagles with no tax implication? Again, can someone also confirm about silver coins?

I have some minor crypto holdings but don't really like the space so if you're certain about ones like LINK rebounding then repositioning might be sound, I dunno what your overall crypto and PM holdings are like. I see crypto as a risk-on speculative asset class which I don't think will do as well as commodities in the upcoming supercycle. People are running out of expendable cash to YOLO into cryptos and meme stocks so until that changes I'd be wary. Remember that PMs react last to inflationary macro conditions so yeah they've been disappointing so far but I'm completely confident that they'll pay off when enough normies of the world wake up and global consciousness shifts, and that'll begin when the bottom is in and all the whales and sovereigns rotate into metal. I figure that at least some cryptos will be sought as an alternative to inflating fiat and will do well but expect much more pain in the realm before that happens and can't tell you which ones will rise to the top.

Good grandpa.
When my grandpa my Boomer dad took his literally suitcase full of loose Silver Eagles to a pawn shop and got $5 a piece for them.
This happened 5 months ago. He had close to 600.
My only consolation was pulling up the actual price so he could see how badly he got fucked after it happened. And of course in typical boomer fashion he blamed the pawn shop owner rather than himself for not taking literally 3 seconds to fucking Google it.

What about the alien nazi ufo aircrafts from hollow earth in Antarctica?
Operation high jump proves you wrong.
Adolf Is in neuschwabenland, at the edge of our earth crater, connected with the next crater through hollow earth interdimensional tunnels.
What about their technology, how do u think they suddenly jumped ahead of everyone else by decades?!
Without Dr Werner von Braun, inventor of the V2 rocket, and hitlers main rocket scientist, who was first nasa director and a known feeemason.
Y'all muricans can't even go back to the moon anymore, since you've lost the German nazi alien technology when von braun died.
I strongly believe we are inside the simulation, and more advanced human races, which we consider aliens, are controlling it.
The nazi managed to break out of the simulation and were in touch with higher human beings.

I received a delivery today of 4 tubes of Noah's Ark 2022 silver coins
I had one tube previously from a different dealer

now I noticed that it looked like one coin was missing in the recent tubes vs my original tube
so I took them out and counted..
and it's the same amount of coins but they're not as tall! I checked each individual coin and they seem as they should be.
does this make sense? can they be more thick in a different batch?

Anything under $10 is good. $10 for a private deal is standard, but full retail you're looking anywhere from $12-$15.

Even at $10, once you apply the 1.4x multiplier at $20fv you're looking at $28/toz. Not awful for sovereign silver imo.

You learn enough through that and watching stuff like pawn stars, American pickers, counting cars, storage wars etc. watch the UK equivalents, they suck because everything of value was melted down for the war and no one had any money and our cars were crap and no one has space for a weekend project car or lock up anyway.

Gold Silver ratio is how many oz's of silver 1 oz of gold will buy.
Right now 1oz of gold will buy something like 75 oz's of silver.
Ten years ago 1 oz of gold would by 40 ozs of silver. The ratio is pretty cyclical.
When the GSR is high, like.now, silver is cheap relative to gold, when the GSR is low silver is expensive in relation to gold.
The game is swap between the two based on the extremes of the GSR to increase your stack without putting in fiat.
Basically it's playing the arbitrage between the two but spanned over 5-20 years.
General rule of thumb-
GSR is above 60, start stacking silver
GSR below 40 start converting silver to gold.
That way when the GSR swings back up you can increase your stack minus fees and premiums.
The GSR is the longest tracked ratio in existence going back to the beginning of recorded history so it's pretty damn reliable.
You won't get rich because the cycles are so long but you can make some impressive gains even as a poor fag.
Right now silver is cheap compared to gold so the smart play is to stack silver.
Good news is we are just entering a Gold bull so you should still have time. The GSR is going to get much higher before the rubber band snaps.

>> No.49748614

>>49748334
>can that be a legitimate
Sure. They have to change the dies - there's a year stamp that needs changing. To get really suspicious, you'd need to compare the same year's coins. Also, the dies do wear,so you'd need to consider where in the run the coins were struck, although I'd guess that's a pretty big difference for strike wear.

as they're 2022 coins and we're only in June it seems odd it'd be such a big difference
20 coins stacked and the total difference is like half a coin? so a few millimeters? maybe it's not a lot.
the edges are rimmed, weight matches, diameter matches, sealed original tubes, maybe that's a lot of effort just for these silver coins for someone to fake them
