Evening Frens. Anyone else here read Taleb? I thought about his "Barbell Strategy" and how it relates to GME. The idea is that you invest 90% in nonvolatile assets such as cash, gold, or short term treasuries. The remaining 10% you invest in high risk, high reward assets and speculative plays such as IPOs, crypto, tech startups. The 10% might fail a lot but when it pays off it will dwarf the rest of your portfolio. You reallocate and start again.

Anyone who is here knows that GME is one of those "10%ers." If you believe that it will go into the millions or beyond then you theoretically do not need to go all in on GME. I say this because many here have been feeling the pain and are getting antsy from waiting for so long.

Of course, part of MOASS theory is that markets will crash across the board because of naked short positions that exceed issued shares. Shorts have infinite downside risk. This xan create a dilemma. On the one hand you can have a diversified portfolio that may crash and be dwarfed by your GME gains while on the other hand you can go all in on GME but have a more anxious experience. I cannot tell you which is correct. I think how one approaches GME's role in the portfolio is a matter of opinion and philosophy.

If you are considering selling: don't. DRS your shares rather than sell them. You can carry on with a "reduced" GME position in your portfolio but if you sell down but not entirely then you will hurt your remaining GME position. Just "DRS down" and strengthen our collective grip on the float.
