They manage all the buying and selling, so you don't need to understand how puts and calls work. You just push a button. It's suppose to create prive certainty for people, so that you can spend your BTC without worrying about volatility.

You open your trezor in a 3rd party locking app, you can’t do it in the default wallet.
Behind the scenes it cashes your btc to usd with a future to buy it back later
If the price goes above your lock you loose and get less btc back, price goes below to you gain and get the usd (which you can immediately buy back into bitcoin)
Binance has it, but only for 7-28 days
