Bobo how terrible is your memory? The same thing happened last time the Fed raised rates. A short lived pump to liquidate leveraged shorts followed by a violent dump.

Shorts closing positions on the bad news. This triggers a fake bull run into more short opportunity in 2-3 days.

The fed did what the market expected. Their decision was already priced in. But I don't know what market you're looking at, cause the one I see sure as hell isn't "up".

It means speculators already traded based on the anticipation of the event happening, so that when the event actually happened, the asset in question was already at the price reflective of the event taking place.

.75 was priced in over the last week or two. .50 would have triggered a significant short-term rally. 1.00 would have led to a further sell-off. Also niggers tongue my anus.

maybe the news was better than what they feared, or enough normies fear sold to justify a small pump, to lure them right back in

>> No.49687211

>>49686003
Markets hate uncertainty. Inflation going up = uncertain of fed actions. The markets WANTED a harder stance as participants think it will get inflation under control. 50 points was seen as too weak and would of created larger levels of uncertainty, above 75 points was expected to be too hard. Expect markets to rally or level off until the next set of inflation numbers.

The worst we'd "get fucked" is filling le cme gap at 3k, and it wouldn't last more than one hour. The smart anons know they'll all kill stables but one, and plan accordingly. Get fucked doomerfag you'll have to trade gold for a cbdc in about 2 to 3 years lmao

did you really think it would go down forever? It has crashed as much as it did in the last bear market, in a considerably shorter amount of time. If you kept shorting, you are just as delusional as people who thought it was going to 400k
