Cryptonight is the original mining algorithm that Monero had when it appeared. It is no longer used today, but the name is still in the documentation of the daemon and miners. Since 2019 the algorithm used is RandomX.

Elon is basically saying "get Monero". And he is right because unlike Bitcoin, basically everybody with a desktop PC can mine Monero. This means that Monero can be much more decentralized, and eventually much more stable than Bitcoin. It doesn't matter if Monero crashes right now, eventually the dust will settle, and it will go to a new stable point where people will feel comfortable using it for buying and selling goods and services in a peer to peer way, which was the whole point of Bitcoin in the first place (instead of speculating with the price).
